Former Ring of Honor champion Kyle O'Reilly just came to the ring at the WWE NXT Taping in Winter Park, Florida to face Aleister Black.

There has been speculation for some time that O'Reilly was WWE-bound, but he was dealing with an illness in the family in recent months.

There had also been talk that WWE backed off on hiring him immediately after his ROH deal expired last January after receiving a legal letter from Ring of Honor after learning that WWE was speaking with O'Reilly before his then-current ROH deal had expired.

As we discussed this afternoon on the We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show in the Elite section of, there was talk earlier this week around NXT that a number of former ROH talents could soon be coming in, possibly even as a faction.  Former ROH star Lio Rush is also expected to sign with NXT while Bobby Fish appeared at the last NXT TV taping.
