WWE RAW REPORT: PUTTING A GOOD SPIN ON JOE/LESNAR, WHO WAS THE ONE ARMED MAN WHO ATTACKED ENZO?, BEARING DOWN WITH MIZ AND MARYSE, ROMAN'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SUMMERSLAM, AND MORE

We are in Evansville, Indiana and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Booker T.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring to make his announcement about SummerSlam.

Roman says some of y'all may not like this, but some of y'all may love it.  Roman says he cannot be beaten one on one.  It is the truth.  Ask Bray Wyatt.  Ask Finn Balor.  Ask Seth Rollins.  Ask Braun Strowman because he put him out of commission.  Don't forget that he main evented his third Wrestlemania in a row.  Roman says that is where he retired the Undertaker.   Roman says he respects Taker and Taker respects him since he beat him.  After Great Balls of Fire, it does not matter who wins between Brock Lesnar and that guy named Joe.  Roman says he is the number one contender for the Universal Title.

Roman asks if you want to know why.  Roman says this is his yard and he makes the rules around here.  Roman says that is why . . . 

Samoa Joe interrupts and comes to the ring.

Joe says he could not helped to have noticed that Roman forgot his name.  Joe says he was offended, but then Roman had to make a case for his announcement.  You mentioned a long list of people you have beaten, but Joe points out that his name is not on that list because you have never beaten him.  Joe reintroduces himself and he says he is the true number one contender and the next Universal Champion.  

Roman says he never thought he would agree with Paul Heyman, but what he said was true.  You will never be Samoa Joe to him.  You will be Just Joe.  

Joe with a head butt and it knocks Reigns to the floor.  Joe with punches and he sends Roman into the ringside barrier a few times.  Joe sends Roman into the apron and then into the ring.  Joe stands over Reigns and he tries for the choke but Reigns blocks it and he gives Joe an arm drag and then he hits a Superman punch but Joe rolls to the floor.  

Matt and Jeff Hardy walk in the back and we go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that Samoa Joe will be facing Roman Reigns tonight.

Match Number One:  Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy versus Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Matt and Anderson start off and Matt with a wrist lock.  Jeff tags in and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles to the arm.  Jeff with a kick and he runs Anderson back into the corner.  Matt tags in and they send Anderson into the turnbuckles and kick Karl.  Matt and Jeff with a double suplex for a near fall.  

We see Sheamus and Cesaro watch from the back.

Gallows tags in and punches Matt.  Gallows with a short arm clothesline but he misses an elbow drop.  Jeff tags in and they Irish whip Gallows.  Matt with a clothesline and Jeff with Poetry in Motion.  Jeff gets a near fall.  Gallows with an uppercut and he sends Jeff into the turnbuckles.  Anderson tags in and punches Jeff.  Anderson with a European uppercut followed by punches.  Jeff goes up top but Karl with a leg sweep and Jeff hits the turnbuckles as we go to commercial.

We are back and Gallows with a boot to Jeff and Anderson tags in.  Anderson with knee drops and he gets a near fall.  Anderson with an arm bar.  Jeff tries to make the tag but Karl pulls Jeff by the hair but he misses a splash into the corner and crotches himself in the turnbuckles. 

Sheamus continues to watch while Cesaro holds a drink.

Jeff lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and he hits Gallows on the apron.  Jeff with a mule kick and Gallows tags in and he knocks Matt off the apron.  Gallows with an Irish whip and splash into the corner.  Karl tags in but he runs into an elbow.  Gallows runs into an uppercut.  Jeff with Whisper in the Wind and he tags in Matt.  Matt with a clothesline to Anderson and then he hits Gallows with a forearm.  Matt punches Anderson and connects with forearms.  Matt sends Anderson into all three turnbuckles in the corner.  Matt with a running clothesline but Anderson sends him into the turnbuckles on the bulldog attempt.  Matt with an elbow off the turnbuckles followed by a Side Effect for a near fall.

Gallows sends Jeff to the floor but Matt clotheslines Gallows over the top rope to the floor.  Anderson with a rollup.  Gallows with an uppercut to Matt from the floor and Anderson with a clothesline.  Gallows gets Matt up on his shoulders and Anderson with a running boot and Gallows with a TKO for a near fall.  Jeff with a forearm to Anderson.  Gallows with a thrust kick to Gallows and Jeff makes the blind tag.  Matt is pulled off Gallows shoulders and Matt with a Twist of Fate followed by a Swanton from Jeff for the three count.

Winners:  Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Shattered Dreams Production video from Goldust.  He says he is ready for his close up.  Hollywood.  No glitz.  No glamour.  The brightest stars, the biggest stage.  The city where dreams come true.  What about the other side they don't want you to see?  Where dreams get shattered like a piece of broken glass.  Goldust says he has been there, but he has pieced himself together quite nicely.  Goldust says he will be flying into the city of angels on wings made of gold.  Goldust invites R Truth to the debut of his latest motion picture . . . The Shattered Truth. 

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll never forget the name of Goldust.  The Golden Age is back.

Elias Samson is in the ring.

Elias wants to know who wants to walk with Elias.  He remembers when he was fifteen and his father gave him a guitar.  You can take this and tell the stories of the world and go wherever you want.  His father did not know that he would drift into this godforsaken town of Evansville.  He tells everyone to let his music cleanse their filthy souls.

Elias tunes his guitar but he is interrupted by Finn Balor.

Finn and Elias stand in the center of the ring and Elias backs away from Finn.  Elias leaves the ring.

Match Number Two:  Finn Balor versus Bo Dallas

Bo attacks Finn before the bell rings and he hits a back elbow.  

Balor tells the referee to start the match and he punches Balor and hits a short arm clothesline.  Bo chokes Balor in the ropes and connects with forearms to the back.  Bo sends Balor into the ringside barrier and the referee counts both men on the floor.  Bo with a running boot to the head and they return to the ring and Bo gets a near fall.  Bo with a cravate and knee but Finn with a boot.  Bo with an elbow and Finn with a Pele Kick.  Balor with a back heel kick and he takes Bo down and stomps on the chest.  Balor with more boots to Bo and he is warned by the referee.

Balor clotheslines Bo over the top rope to the floor and Balor with a running kick on the apron.  Balor sends Bo into the ringside barrier a few times.  They return to the ring and Balor with Slingblade and a running drop kick that sends Bo into the turnbuckles.  Finn goes up top for Coup de Grace and the three count.

Winner:  Finn Balor

Corey Graves gets up from the announce table because he heard something on his headset.

We see the trailer for WWE 2K18.

We go to commercial.
