WWE RAW REPORT: THE FIVE MEN IN THE MAIN EVENT IN TWO MATCHES, THIS IS YOUR LIFE, A SIX MAN TAG MATCH TEDDY LONG WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD OF, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2017-05-29 23:04:00

Tonight's show starts off with a mention of Memorial Day, voiced over by John Cena.

We are in Greenville, South Carolina and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Booker T.

Miz makes his way to the ring and he is joined by his wife Maryse.

Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.  Miz says they are feeling real good.  Miz says he gets his hands on Dean Ambrose on Sunday.  He calls Ambrose a lying, cheating thief who stole his Intercontinental Title.  Miz says he earned a title match a few weeks ago but Ambrose got disqualified.  Miz says he demanded another match from Raw GM Kurt Angle.  When you know your opponent is a habitual rule breaker, you need to get a stipulation like he did where Ambrose loses the title if he is disqualified.

We see footage from last week's Raw when MIz got Dean Ambrose disqualified by interfering in the match.

Miz applauds what Elias did last week.

He says if that happens on Sunday, he becomes a seven time Intercontinental Champion.  Miz says his guests are Cesaro and Sheamus.

They come to the ring and we are reminded that the tag title match on Sunday will be contested inside a steel cage.

Miz says no two superstars in the WWE have worked harder then they have.  No other superstars, besides Miz, deserve to be champions.  They had their big moment at Wrestlemania, only for the Hardys to show up unannounced, be given an opportunity, and steal their spotlight.

Sheamus says all of the people turned their backs on Cesaro when the Hardys showed up.  Sheamus says they have no loyalty.  They are all about the new toy.  They are going to break that new toy and win back their titles at Extreme Rules.

Miz says they have been victimized by the people and the people do not see the greatness that is in this ring.  Miz demands silence while he speaks, and that does not work.  Miz says he elevated the Intercontinental Title match while Ambrose dragged the title down.  That title needs a comeback.  After Extreme Rules, the Intercontinental Title Match Rehabilitation Tour will start and go all over the world.

Dean Ambrose's music plays and he comes to the ring.

Dean says he does not always make great decisions, but he sees three buttheads out here but he figures someone has to come out and shut their mouths.

Miz asks if the people want Dean to shut his mouth.  Miz says to look at the numbers because it is three on one.

Dean says he may be crazy, but he is not stupid.

Matt and Jeff Hardy make their way to the ring to join Dean.

All six men battle but Miz goes to the floor quickly.  Sheamus is sent to the floor and Cesaro goes to the floor as well.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One:  Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Dean Ambrose versus Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus

We go to commercial.

We are back and Miz kicks Dean in the chest.  Miz with more kicks but he misses the round kick and Dean gets a near fall with a rollup.  Miz with a forearm for a near fall.  Cesaro tags in and he punches Dean.  Cesaro with an Irish whip and he misses a splash to the corner and goes over the turnbuckles to the floor.  Dean sends MIz to the floor and Miz pulls Jeff off the apron and then Matt goes after MIz.  Sheamus tags in and Dean has no one to tag.  Sheamus and Cesaro hit a spike White Noise for a near fall.

Sheamus with a shoulder in the corner and he puts Dean on the turnbuckles.  Sheamus sets for a super White Noise but Dean fights Sheamus off and Dean with forearms.  Dean with a head butt to send Sheamus to the mat.  Dean with an elbow drop to the chest and he connects.  Cesaro tags in and he stops Dean but Dean bounces in the ropes and hits a clothesline.  Miz and Jeff tag in and Jeff with punches and a forearm.  Jeff with a reverse atomic drop and a leg drop followed by a drop kick.  Jeff goes for a Twist of Fate but Miz blocks it.  Matt tags in and Jeff hits Poetry in Motion.  Matt with a Side Effect but Sheamus breaks up the cover.  Jeff with a Twist of Fate but Cesaro with a clothesline to Jeff.  Dean with a double underhook DDT to Cesaro.  Dean with a suicide dive to Sheamus.  Matt with a Twist of Fate and Jeff with a Swanton for the three count.

Winners:  Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Dean Ambrose

Michael Cole asks Corey about the idea that Dean Ambrose could be disqualified and Corey has to leave the announce table after checking something on his phone.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kurt Angle is looking at Corey Graves' phone.  Kurt wants to know if this message is a joke.  Corey says he loves the job that Kurt is doing.  Kurt wants to know how Corey got this.  Corey says he wanted to give Kurt a head's up.  Kurt says if this is true, it could ruin him.

Elias Samson is in the ring singing.

Match Number Two:  Zack Evans versus Elias Samson

They lock up and he connects with a knee to the midsection and then he works on the arm and lifts Evans in the air and sends him to the mat.  Samson with a head butt and clothesline. Samson with punches against the ropes and then he sends Evans into the turnbuckles.  Samson slams Evans'  throat into the apron and the referee warns him.  Samson stretches Evans on the ring post.  Samson with a kick and punches.  Samson with a swinging reverse neck breaker for the three count.

Winner:  Elias Samson

Corey returns to the announce table and we go to commercial.

We are back and we see Samoa Joe watching a monitor with footage of Finn Balor.  He is interrupted and is asked about his match tonight.  Joe says you make things more predictable.  While people watch the WWE 24 Comeback Special, he is looking at it differently.  He is looking for weaknesses.  It is about the devil you know, not the devil you don't know.  He has broken Finn's body before and he will do it again.

Bray Wyatt appears and he says he is the devil Joe does not know.  He says that Joe is a from generations of warriors.  You are blind while Bray says his eyes are wide open.  He sees the beast that runs wild over civilization.  Bray says he can see a world where the beast destroys angels in midflilght.  There is only one who can beat the beast and it is the Eater of Worlds.  He will not turn away from this fight.  He will stand up.  You and Finn Balor and the rest will give in to your fear and . . . RUN.
