New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference this evening in California to promote the 7/1 and 7/2 debut events for the promotion in Long Beach, CA (outside of Los Angeles) at the Long Beach Convention Center.
*Announced as appearing at the G1 Special events are IWGP champion Kazuchika Okada, IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion Hiromu Takahashi, IWGP Intercontinental champion Tetsuya Naito, ROH TV champion KUSHIDA, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, Marty Scurll, Bad Luck Fale, The Guerrillas of Destiny, Adam "Hangman" Page, Zack Sabre Jr., Yujiro Takahashi, Volador Jr., Dragon Lee, Titan, Cody Rhodes, Jay Lethal, IWGP Tag Team champions War Machine, The Briscoes, Roppongi Vice, Jushin Liger, KUSHIDA, Michael Elgin, Jushin Liger, Jay White, Dave Finley, Billy Gunn, Juice Robinson, Yoshitatsu, Tomohiro Ishii, EVIL, SANADA, BUSHI and the Tempura Boyz.
*The IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, IWGP Tag Team and IWGP Junior Heavyweight championships will also be defended across the 7/1 and 7/2 events as well as the tournament to crown the first IWGP United States championship.
