INJURED STAR BACK ON WWE TV THIS WEEK, RAW IN NEWARK, COMPLETE TAKEOVER: CHICAGO TONIGHT, WWE 24 FINN TONIGHT AND MORE WWE NEWS

Following a ridiclously long European tour, WWE is back in the United States tonight with a live Raw broadcast from Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center.   WWE Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz is slated for the broadcast.   Locally advertised for the taping is Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe.

Cedric Alexander is scheduled back at TV this week, PWInsider has confirmed.  

WWE 24: Finn Balor is scheduled to debut tonight following Raw on the WWE Network.  

WWE will broadcast Smackdown Live and 205 Live tomorrow in Manchester, New Hampshire at the SNHU Arena, the go-home show for the Backlash PPV this Sunday.  Locally advertised for the taping is WWE champion Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles and WWE United States champion Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn.

Aleister Black is scheduled for this week's WWE TV tapings as well.

Kassius Ohno vs Andrade "Cien" Almas will headline this Wednesday's WWE NXT episode on the WWE Network.

WWE Network will broadcast a WWE UK Championship Network special this Friday.  Jim Ross and Nigel McGuinness will host.

Saturday night will be WWE NXT: Takeover Chicago featuring:

*WWE NXT champion Bobby Roode vs. Hideo Itami.
*WWE NXT Women's champion Asuka vs. Ruby Riot vs. Nikki Cross
*WWE Tag Team champions The Authors of Pain vs. DIY - Ladder Match.
*WWE UK champion Tyler Bate vs. Pete Dunne

There should be a Triple H conference call sometime this week to promote the Takeover event.

Booker T, Peter Rosenberg and Renée Young will man the Backlash Kickoff panel this Sunday.

WWE Shop will be releasing a commemorative plaque signed by Alexa Bliss celebrating her becoming the first woman to hold both the Raw and Smackdown Women's championship on 6/10.  Thanks to Paul Jordan.
