PlayStation 4 owners are more fortunate than Xbox users in terms of casino games: there are a lot more card and table games for this console. Moreover, graphics quality is higher, and it is possible to see highly detailed modeled characters and environments, not simple avatars on the screen. But like the Xbox platform, most games are about cards: there are not many alternatives for those who love slot machines. Before starting our list, we should mention that you can visit any gaming website you want with the PS4 browser. Although you will need a separate keyboard + mouse set, you can play at any online casino you like, for example, where you can play a no deposit slot game.

1)   The Four Kings Casino and Slots

Developer: Digital Leisure
Publisher: Digital Leisure

Developed by a Canadian company, Digital Leisure is literally a virtual casino: there are all kinds of casino games in it. In this respect, it looks like the Full House Poker on the Xbox platform. The similarity is limited, however, as Four Kings Casino has much more advanced and realistic graphics. The developer is quite experienced, and among the games they developed, there are successful series like Dragon's Lair, Time Warp, and Space Ace. Especially since they have extensive knowledge of full motion capture, very high-quality animations can be seen here. You can “walk” inside a virtual casino with your avatar and play every game you like. Poker, blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps, and of course, slot machines can be found here. Four Kings Casino is also an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online), meaning every character you see on the screen represents a real person. There is also a ladder showing the most successful players and many trophy awards. Four Kings Casino is the best among the PS4 casino games and can also be played on the PC platform (via Steam).

2)   Prominence Poker

Developer: Pipeworks
Publisher: 505 Games

If you liked the Full House Poker on the Xbox platform, you'd love this one, too because Prominence Poker was developed by the same company. It is about underground poker tournaments and it offers a chance to rise in this shady world by starting as a new gambler and advancing your character level by level. The graphic quality is quite high, the power of the PS4 is fully used. You are following a story in the single player section and trying to achieve a reputation by defeating faction leaders one by one. In the multiplayer section, you compete against other players. Texas Hold'em style poker is played in the game and there are a lot of customization options for your character. Prominence Poker can also be played on PC (Steam) and Xbox One platforms. The option to play with real money is not available.

3)   Pure Hold’em

Developer: VooFoo Studios
Publisher: VooFoo Studios

Pure Hold'em is the most expensive game in our list: You need to spend $ 20 to buy. But in exchange, you’ll probably get the most realistic poker game around. Pure Hold'em, as its name suggests, is a poker version where Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hold'em rules are used. It is even more accurate to say that this not a “game” but a “simulation” because it is introduced even by critics as "best thing after real poker". Includes 6 different table options and card designs with customizable chips. If you want to see a level-based advancement system and lots of shiny goodies in casino games, Pure Hold'em is not the right choice for you. It's literally "what you see is what you get". No features other than pure poker experience are offered. There is, of course, multiplayer support and it is possible to witness highly competitive games because even professional gamblers are using Pure Hold'em to practice. If you are looking for a realistic card game, we guarantee that you will not find a more realistic one than this. Pure Hold’em also has a PC version and can be purchased via Steam.

4)   The Paradise Springs Casino

Developer: Sony
Publisher: Sony

Paradise Springs Casino is a virtual environment that you can access through the Playstation Home interface. PlayStation Home is a virtual world developed by Sony and of course there is also a casino in it. With the avatar you create, you can roam inside this gambling house and play different games. Blackjack, Keno, Texas Hold’em poker, slot machines, roulette, and video poker are among these titles. There are also VIP rooms with higher betting rates. As can be guessed, every game you play gives you a point, and you can unlock some additional features with these points, for example, you can buy a new dress for your character. You cannot play with real money. Paradise Springs is a simple and basic level gambling and will be enough for most players. However, we recommend you try the Four Kings Casino and Slots; it uses the same rationale but with more advanced features.

Speaking of real money gambling, there are no such games on PS4 that support this feature. You can only play with virtual coins. The reason for this is local laws: Real money gambling is subject to different conditions in each country. Since PS4 is being sold in almost every country on earth, it is impossible to make deals with every government out there.
