I wanted to follow up on Dave's answer to the "Fansters" booing Roman Reigns. I will admit that I actually like Roman Reigns. I think he does his job and I feel bad for him. However, I also have to admit that when I went to Survivor Series in Toronto I recorded myself booing him when he came out because it's the "cool thing" to do. I can't speak for everyone else but do you think maybe booing Roman Reigns is similar to chanting "you suck" at Kurt Angle? Nobody actually dislike him and don't care if he's being pushed. It's just for fun.
From what I hear all the time from Fansters, that is not why they boo. I think you are in the minority on that one. I don’t doubt that some people get caught up but most of them are not booing as a sign of respect or anything like that.
Fantasy booking question: Someone comes out to mock the Undertaker for his loss/retirement (perhaps Paul Heyman since Lesnar beat Undertaker first but it can be anyone), the lights go out, his music plays, and out comes who people think is Taker, he enters the ring, removes his hat only to reveal it is Roman Reigns. He can even place the gloves, hat, and coat in the ring and stomp or spit on them. He doesn’t have to align himself with Heyman but the heel turn is complete. Your thoughts?
I would think it was lame to be honest. Plus I really believe if they turn Reigns heel, many of the Fansters would cheer him, so what’s the point?
Who was Nakamura's violinist last night?
His name is Lee England, Jr. He also did it for him at an NXT Takeover event which made it even cooler when he did it last week on Smackdown.
I mean no disrespect, because I really did like both these guys, but Rick Rude has been gone for some time now, and Vader might not last another year. To me, it would have made more sense to induct Vader while he is still alive, and save Rude for another year. Do you know of any ill will or any thing negative about Vader as to why he has not been inducted?
I am with you on that one. I don’t know of any reason that he could not have been inducted this year. He should have been inducted this year in my opinion. He deserves it.
I am a fan of Shinsuke Nakamura, never have I seen a STAR of his caliber. With charisma that transcends being able to "talk". Let's hope he doesn't fall to a certain someone's proclivity to stereotypes. What are your thoughts on his main roster debut?
I thought it was amazing. He didn’t need to say a word. His charisma just got over with the masses. I thought the debut was perfect.
