John Cena will receive the “CinemaCon Action Star of the Year Award" tonight in Las Vegas at Cinemacon, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO). The award ceremony will be held tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The award is being issued in advance of Cena's upcoming film The Wall, which is being released theatrically on 5/12. With his undeniable work ethic, genuine and charismatic personality and his already proven ability to entertain, Cena’s upcoming role in ‘The Wall,’ will solidify his place in Hollywood. We are thrilled to be able to honor him with this year’s ‘CinemaCon Action Star of the Year Award.’”
Cena is flying from Orlando, where he is in town for Wrestlemania, to Vegas to receive the Award before heading back to Florida.
