WWE announced this afternoon that John Cena would be inducting Kurt Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame on Friday 3/31 in Orlando, Florida. Cena, in his official WWE debut, faced Kurt Angle in an Angle Challenge on Smackdown, so he is doing the honors for the first person he ever wrestled in WWE.
The updated WWE Hall of Fame class of 2017:
*Kurt Angle, inducted by John Cena.
*Rick Rude, inducted by Ricky Steamboat.
*The Rock N' Roll Express.
*Beth Phoenix.
*Teddy Long.
*Diamond Dallas Page.
*Warrior Award: Eric LeGrand, inducted by Dana Warrior.
There will also be new "Legacy" inductees.
