ROH TELEVISION REPORT: DECADE OF EXCELLENCE FINALS, HANDICAP MATCH, BULL JAMES VS. SILAS YOUNG & MORE

Tonight, one man will earn a chance to face the Ring of Honor World Champion at the 15th Anniversary Show.  Will it be Jay Briscoe or Christopher Daniels?

We are in Atlanta, Georgia and your announcer is Kevin Kelly.

Match Number One:  Silas Young (with Beer City Bruiser) versus Bull James

Silas wants James to shake his hand and Bull obliges but he does not let go until after the bell is rung.  Bruiser gets on the apron and he distracts James and Young with forearms.  James with a monkey flip but James misses a splash into the corner.  Young with a side head lock.  James with a head scissors that sends Young to the floor.

Young wants James to come to the floor and fight him like a man.  Young runs around the ring to try to get Bruiser to attack James but James avoids Bruiser and James with a body block.  Young with a flip dive onto James.  Young with a slingshot double stomp followed by a kick to the chest.

Young kicks James in the head showing him no respect and we go to commercial.

We are back and Young with a cravate on James.  James escapes the hold and then he blocks a kick.  James pushes Young into the corner and then he pulls Young out of the corner and Silas lands on his feet.  Young with a swinging neck breaker and he gets a near fall.  Young slaps James in the head.  James with a clothesline.

James with jabs to force Young to the mat.  James with a splash into the corner followed by an Irish whip but Young with a kick in the corner.  James with a double sledge as Young comes off the turnbuckles and James hits an Earthquake Splash for a near fall.  James grabs Young by the hair on the apron and Bruiser keeps James from suplexing Young back into the ring and then Bruiser pulls Young to the floor and James’ throat is dropped on the top rope. 

Young goes for a slingshot double stomp but James rolls out of the way.  Young goes to the apron and James kicks Young over the top rope into the ring.  James goes up top and Young falls down towards the other corner.  James with a tornado DDT to Bruiser.  Young with a kick to James. James goes for a Tiger Driver but Young blocks it and he kicks James and hits Misery for the three count.

Winner:  Silas Young

We go to comments from Jay Briscoe.

He says you can go back fifteen years with him.  His eighteen year old pale ass was the first thing to come through the curtains on the first show.  He is an eight time tag team champion.  He is a two time World champion.  He will become a three time champion.  The only number that matters is one.  He has one match and one man, Christopher Daniels left.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at Bobby Fish winning Survival of the Fittest to earn a future World Title Match.

Bobby says winning Survival of the Fittest was a means to an end.  It was a simple a, then b situation.  Win Survival of the Fittest and become the World Champion.  Not a single soul in the locker room is capable of doing it other than him.  March Fourth will be no different.  This opportunity exists because he created it.  Just like forming one half of the greatest two man smash machine.  Just like him winning the Television Title.  He is not overconfident.  That is being Bobby Fish.  On March Fourth, being Bobby Fish will be more than enough.  Bobby tells Adam Cole to look into his eyes.  The man looking back at you is the next Ring of Honor World Champion.

Before the next match starts, Colt Cabana gets on the mic and he says hello to Dalton Castle at the announce table.  Colt tells the Boys it is a sad day in Ring of Honor that you are allowed in this ring, the ring that Colt Cabana built.  Colt tells the people not to boo him because he is a legend.  He tells Dalton they are not finished.  He will literally destroy Dalton’s two schmucks.

Colt will show what happens when you mess with the Iron Jew.

Match Number Two:  Colt Cabana versus The Boys

Cabana and the Boys have to be separated.  Colt sends Boy One to the floor and he slams Boy Two a total of four times.  Boy One tags in and kicks Cabana from the apron.  Boy One with a springboard cross body and Cabana catches him.  Cabana backs up and trips over Boy Two and Boy One gets a near fall.   Boy Two do the Peacock Pose and it freaks out Cabana. 

We go to commercial.

We are back and Cabana toys with Boy Two.  Boy Two with a chop but Cabana chops back and sends him to the mat.  Cabana with jabs to Boy One and then he gives Boy Two a Bionic Elbow.  He gives Boy Two more bionic elbows.  Boy One with a jumping knee but Cabana hip tosses Boy One over the top rope to the floor.  Cabana with the Flying A**hole to Boy Two.

Cabana grabs Boy One and taunts Castle.  Cabana sends Boy One into Castle and Cabana checks on the ringside security member.  Boy Two goes up top and Cabana punches Boy Two and he goes to the turnbuckles and he hits Chicago Skyline on Boy Two.

Cabana puts Boy One in the Billy Goat’s Curse and Boy One taps out.

Winner:  Colt Cabana

We go to comments from Christopher Daniels.  He says any normal man would be happy with his accomplishments in Ring of Honor.  First tag team champion, second television champion, man in the first main event, wrestled in the first hour long title match.  He mentions the people he wrestled.  There is one thing left for him.  He has been called the Best that Never Was.  That is about to change.  He is one step closer to becoming Ring of Honor World Champion.  He says it is his destiny to be Ring of Honor Champion.

We take a look at the four men who won the Top Prospect Tournament because the tournament starts next week.

Frankie Kazarian and Mark Briscoe join Kevin on commentary.

Match Number Three:  Jay Briscoe versus Christopher Daniels in the Finals of the Decade of Excellence Tournament

They lock up and Briscoe with a side head lock.  Daniels with forearms and Briscoe with a shoulder tackle.  Daniels with a kick but Briscoe with a head scissors and kick.  Briscoe goes for the Jay Driller but Daniels blocks it and Daniels goes for Angel’s Wings but Briscoe blocks it.  Briscoe gets a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Daniels with a side head lock.  Briscoe goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Daniels lands on his feet.  Daniels with a drop toe hold into a side head lock.  Daniels floats over in the corner and Briscoe with a boot to the head.  Briscoe with a head butt and European uppercut.  Briscoe with kicks in the corner and he chokes Daniels.

Briscoe with another European uppercut and head butt.  Daniels with a leg lariat and clothesline.  Daniels with a kick and STO.  Daniels with an Irish whip that sends Briscoe sternum first into the turnbuckles and then Daniels sends Briscoe face first into the turnbuckles.  Daniels with a quebrada for a near fall.  Daniels with a flatline into the Koji Clutch.

Briscoe crawls towards the ropes and he gets his foot on the rope and Daniels has to release the hold.  Daniels with a hard Irish whip.  Daniels with an elbow to the back of the head and then he hits a Northern Lariat and gets a near fall.  Daniels with a cravate.  Briscoe with punches to the midsection.  Daniels with a clothesline.  Daniels with forearms and a running forearm that bounces Briscoe’s head off the top rope. 

We go to commercial.

We are back and Briscoe clotheslines Daniels over the top rope to the floor.  Briscoe sets for a suicide dive and he connects and both men are down.  Briscoe gets back into the ring and the referee approaches the twenty count.  Briscoe with a forearm to force the stop of the count.  Daniels ducks when Briscoe goes for a flying forearm and he goes to the floor.  Daniels with an Arabian Press and Daniels hits his head on the floor as he lands.

Kazarian gets up from the announce table so Mark goes to the other side of the ring to provide support for his brother.

Daniels tries to suplex Jay back into the ring but Briscoe lands on his feet.  Both men go for cross body presses at the same time and they both go down.  Both men go for clotheslines at the same time.  They do it again.  Briscoe with jabs and then Daniels with jabs.  Jay with a forearm and Daniels with a forearm of his own.  Jay with head butts but Daniels with a kick and head butts that stagger both men.  Jay with a rolling elbow.  Daniels drops to the mat and the referee checks on him.

Daniels with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Daniels with a kick and Angel’s Wings but Briscoe kicks out at two.  Daniels tries to pick up Briscoe but he is not moving.  The referee checks on Briscoe to see if he can continue.  Briscoe gets back to his feet and he hits a Death Valley Driver.  Briscoe gets to his feet first.  Briscoe goes for the neck breaker but Daniels avoids it.  Daniels with a uranage and then he points to the turnbuckles for the BME but Briscoe with a rollup for a near fall.  Daniels with another uranage and he goes for the BME but Briscoe moves and Daniels lands on his feet.

Briscoe with a thrust kick and clothesline for a near fall.  Briscoe sets for the Jay Driller but Daniels falls back into the corner.  Briscoe with a boot to the head.  Daniels is put on the turnbuckles and Briscoe with a forearm.  Briscoe climbs the turnbuckles but Daniels blocks a superplex.  Daniels crotches Briscoe on the turnbuckles and Daniels hits a Super Angel’s Wings for the three count.

Winner:  Christopher Daniels

After the match, Daniels celebrates his victory with Kazarian.

Daniels goes to Jay Briscoe and he offers his hand and they shake and hug.
