Notes:

- As Richard Trionfo pointed out, seating was constantly being shuffled before the show. They kept rearranging the seats under the stage. As late arrivals came in, it caused more shuffling. An entire section of bleachers was also tapped off. For a show that was sold out even with an accident, I'm not sure where everybody was. Hopefully, they get things straightened out by the next taping.

- There was no merchandise available for any of the participants or for the tournament in general. The merch stand was selling the normal NXT fare.

- The layout of the arena will look different compared to NXT. The wrestlers will come out from the corner of the building and there is additional seating under the tron in the center of the building.

- All of the workers came out to new music. Their trons were also based on the country they represent.

- Each match was given a 20 minute time limit.

- Best matches of the night: Kendrick/Mendoza, Perkins/Mack, Dorado/Aliyah, Ibushi/Maluta, Gallagher/Aichner, Gargano/Ciampa

- Several talents came in and really impressed, even in defeat. Raul Mendoza, Da Mack, Fabian Aichner, Mustafa Ali and Jason Lee all looked really good.

- On the other hand, in victory. Ho Ho Lun didn't look all that impressive. Frankly, he looks out of place compared to the other winners.

- Rich Swann came across like a star tonight.

-Mike Rome was handling ring announcing duties. He was hired to replace Alex Reyes in NXT.
