Charges against former WWE star Raymond " Adam Rose" Leppan were dropped by prosecutors in Florida and the case against him is now closed, reported today.  The decision was made after Leppan provided proof he was getting assistance for his marital issues.

Leppan was arrested on 5/11 at his home in Florida after authorities responded to a 911 call his wife attempted to make.

According to the police report on the arrest, Leppan and his wife were having an argument about the state of their marriage at their home when Rose grabbed her face with his hands and pulled her close to his own face as he screamed at her.  Leppan's wife dialed 911 from their home phone but Leppan took the phone from her to prevent her from reporting the incident. According to the arresting officers, Leppan admitted he took the phone from his wife.

Leppan grabbing the phone from his wife resulted in the tampering with a witness charge, a felony in the state of Florida.  He was also charged with domestic battery, a misdemeanor.

Leppan was serving a 60 day WWE Wellness Policy suspension for his second violation of the WWE Wellness Policy at the time of his arrest and was later indefinitely suspended, per the company's policy on domestic abuse issues. He was later released from his contract at his request and intends to work the independent scene using the name Aldo Rose.
