Welcome to the Impact Wrestling Report here on!

We start off with a look back at the sick finish of last week's main event, and the brawl that ensued.  Stemming from that altercation, Jeff Hardy faces Eric Young in Six Sides of Steel...TONIGHT!

We go to the arena where Six Sides of Steel is already set up, and we go right into our opening match!

Six Sides of Steel: Jeff Hardy vs Eric Young

Eric cuts a promo before the match saying that he's going to take Jeff's redneck neck, put it on top of the cage, and piledrive him to death.  Jeff comes out with a table and they brawl around the outside of the ring until Bram suckerpunches Jeff and helps Eric beat him down and smash his face into the cage.  Young tries to piledrive Hardy on the floor, but Hardy backdrops him...and gets rammed into the cage by Bram again.  Young throws a bunch of chairs into the ring and they head inside, and the bell rings to finally start the official match.  Bram tries to get in the cage, but Jeff dropkicks him to the floor and the door gets locked as we go to commercial.

We're back, and Jeff is still in control and covers Young for 2.  Young rams Hardy into the cage to break his momentum and wedges a chair in the corner, but Hardy fights back and rams Young into the chair and covers for 2.  Hardy stands a table up in the corner and tries to put Young through it, but Young stops that and bounces Hardy's head off the cage yet again.  Hardy comes back with the usual double legdrop to the ding ding combo for 2, then sets up four chairs to make a little platform.  He tries a Twist of Fate on them, but Young blocks and piledrives Hardy into the chairs instead.  Young drapes an arm over Hardy's chest, but only gets 2, so they start fighting again, Hardy sets the table up and hits a Twist of Fate, does it again, and lays Young on the table.  Hardy goes to the top of the cage (was there any doubt this was coming?) and comes off with a Swanton, putting Young through the table, and covers him for the win.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Nice to see these guys actually making use of the cage, unlike the guys in another prominent cage match in the last few days.  That Swanton looked sick.

Dixie Carter is backstage with Gail Kim and Maria, who talks about what an inspiration Dixie is.  Dixie is inspired by doing things the right way, and she's tired of both of them making their own #1 contenders, so Gail Kim's going to face both Madison Rayne and Jade tonight.  Dixie says it's also enough of the la-la stuff from Maria, and Maria yells at Gail for making Dixie mad, and goes running off after her going, "Dixie! Dixie!"

Bobby Lashley is backstage, and he's...WARMING UP!

Jeff Hardy is...somewhere really bright.  I have no idea where he is, but he says he's watching tonight's main event and he wants another shot at the TNA World Title.

Jeremy Borash is in the ring informing the fans that tonight's episode is called Revenge, and before tonight's main event, he's giving the participants in tonight's TNA World Title match a chance to have their last word with each other before doing battle.  Hardy tells Borash to introduce Galloway as a cheat, a liar, and a thief because that's what he is, as well as the man he's about to destroy.  Drew comes out and says that Matt will keep talking until everyone leaves and they have to turn the lights out because he never shuts up.  Hardy says he's simply stating facts, and Drew is in possession of his property.  Borash asks for some decorum, and since Matt is the challenger, he can go first.  Hardy says he should be the champion: he dresses like one, he has an entourage like one, he married like one, he procreated like one, he is the epitome of success in this business.  He calls Drew a flash in the pan because you have to work hard to succeed in this business, and nobody's worked harder than he has.  Drew is a petty thief, a criminal who stole what he had because he knew he couldn't beat him on the level.  He's giving Drew the beating of his life tonight, Drew's going home alone, and he's taking the family member Drew abducted: the TNA World Title.  Now it's Drew's turn, and he says the word that describes him best is passion, and he doesn't play a character on TV, he is like this 24/7.  He saw that in Matt years ago, but now he uses his infant son as a prop on a TV show.  He still has some respect for him and his brother, and Matt says not to dare mentioning Benedict Arnold's name because he's not his brother, and he doesn't care about these insignificant morons in the crowd, and just because Drew beat the inferior Hardy doesn't mean he can beat him.  Drew says Matt's right, he isn't like his brother: everyone likes Jeff and nobody likes him.  He took his opportunity to win the title, but he followed that up by beating Jeff, and he'll do it again tonight.  Borash says that's it for the final word, and tonight, it will be settled as Drew and Matt face one another in the middle of this ring tonight, and he wishes them both the best of luck.  Tyrus takes the mic out of Drew's hand and he has something to say about tonight's main event: he's spent his time waiting in the shadows and being patient.  Drew cashed in his chance and took advantage of it, but he won Bound For Gold, and he's thinking tonight he should shock the world.  He drops the microphone and leaves.

Pope is in the back getting ready for his match and says that, after all these weeks, Pope demanded a fight, and he got just that.  Tonight, Lashley's going to find out that when it comes down to Pope, if nothing else, he was born to fight, and Lashley will find out that it's a lot easier to jump on than jump off.  They'll face off...NEXT!

Tyrus is backstage and Ethan Carter III comes up applauding at him and says that he thought he was going to keep making lateral moves.  But Tyrus should remember that he cost him the TNA World Title, and karma is a hell of a thing, and wishes him luck tonight.  Tyrus asks if EC3 has a crystal ball now, because the only person who knows what Tyrus is going to do is Tyrus.  He tells EC3 he hates him, and he leaves as EC3 says "I hate you too!" as he walks out.

Pope comes out for his streetfight with Lashley, but Lashley charges out of the back and nails Pope from behind.  Lashley continues the assault on the floor, smashing Pope's head into the ring apron, then dumps him into the ring to officially start the match.

No DQ Streetfight: Bobby Lashley vs Pope D'Angelo Dinero

Lashley whips Pope to the corner and charges in with a shoulderblock to the ribs, and NOW he chooses to take his vest off before unloading with a series of right hands in the corner.  Another shoulderblock in the corner, and Pope is in deep trouble as he writhes in pain on the mat.  Lashley with a delayed vertical suplex, then yanks Pope back up and hoists him over with a snap suplex like he was nothing.  Lashley hits a spear, but holds onto Pope and dumps him over the top and to the floor.  Pope gets ahold of a trash can lid and uses it to decorate Lashley's skull, then gets a kendo stick and breaks it over Lashley's back.  Pope uses what's left of the stick to crush Lashley's ding ding, then hit a Black Russian legsweep.  Pope is just beating Lashley into oblivion with that kendo stick, and he tries coming off the second rope with a shot from the stick, but Lashley spears him out of midair and pins him.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Pope is dazed, and Lashley is setting for the spear as Pope uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet.  He finally does, and Lashley turns him inside out with a spear.  Lashley chases the referee away and hits a third spear as EC3 comes out to the top of the ramp, and he takes his jacket and shirt off as he comes to the ring to confront Lashley.  Lashley casually steps away and smiles as he points at what's left of Pope.  Mike Bennett suddenly runs in and lays EC3 out with a chair as we go to commercial.

We come back and EC3 has a mic.  He tells Bennett that if he wants a fight, he's still standing, so unless Bennett wants to be known as an EC3 knockoff, he better come down here and fight him right now.  The lights go down and Maria comes out to do her usual spiel, but EC3 tells her to stuff it and says he doesn't want to talk to her, he wants to talk to her worthless, spineless husband right NOW.  Bennett comes out and tells Ethan that he couldn't help but overhear EC3 saying Bennett was trying to be just like him, but he assures EC3 that he is nothing like him.  Bennett looks at the crowd and sees a bunch of people who make excuses and blame other people for their problems, and EC3 is just like them, so if EC3 isn't man enough to take repsonsibility for his own actions, then Bennett can just continue being his excuse.  EC3 says Bennett exists because he's allowed him to exist for this long, but the time for that is coming to an end.  Bennett says EC3's career is coming to an end, because he looks at EC3 and sees a sad, pathetic little bitch who was on top of the world when Bennett first got here, but since then, everyone he knows has abandoned him and he lost the TNA World Title.  EC3 has nothing, and the only person he has to blame is himself, it's all his fault, and if he doesn't want to take reponsibility, he can blame Bennett because people who make excuses blame others and fail, and he'll go on to be the TNA World Champion.  Bennett has no problem fighting EC3 because the outcome will always be the same: he'll whoop EC3's ass, EC3 will make excuses, and Bennett will say yes we do.  EC3 says if Bennett just agreed to fight him, he can come finish the job.  Bennett says he will fight him, but not tonight.  He's going to save that for next week, so he tells EC3 to take care of himself and have a good night.

EC3 rolls out of the ring and runs up the ramp to go after Bennett, and Bennett throws Maria in front of EC3 so he can run away.  It didn't work, because EC3 found him backstage and attacked him again.  Bennett runs out to the parking lot, but EC3 is right on his tail and rams him into some packing crates, tries to dump Bennett in the open trunk of a nearby car, but Bennett gets ahold of a tire iron and bashes EC3 in the ribs with it before stealing the car and driving off as EC3 is laying on the ground holding his ribs.

Tyrus is backstage taping his fists and Spud comes in and says how brilliant he is because he realized he's just going to hand the TNA World Title to Matt.  Tyrus tells Spud that fools rush into things, and he's been marinating on this for a long time, but he's no fool.

Knockouts Title Match: Gail Kim vs Jade vs Madison Rayne

All three girls trade shots at the beginning, and Gail briefly is disposed of as Madison and Jade trade pinfall attempts.  Gail comes back in to interject, but Jade turns her inside out with a German suplex and trades shots with Madison.  Gail with a DDT/flatliner combo on both girls, then continues dishing out offense to both opponents by herself.  Madison rolls out to the floor and Jade takes her out with a dive through the ropes, then knocks Gail on her butt with a kick to the skull.  Jade chokes Madison and actually carries her around ringside by the neck, then drills her with a shotgun dropkick on the floor.  The referee is paying attention to them as Maria comes out and hits Gail with the Knockouts Title belt, and Jade hits Gail with an STO and picks up the win.

Winner and NEW Knockouts Champion: Jade

Not much to this match, but good to see Jade finally become the Knockouts Champion.  She deserves it.

Drew is backstage saying how impressed he is in Tyrus stepping up instead of being Matt Hardy's lackey, but it doesn't matter which of them he has to destroy, nobody is taking this title from him tonight.

Gregory Shane Helms is backstage with Trevor Lee, saying he's not nervous because this is a no-brainer: he's given Eddie Edwards a chance to win the TNA World Tag Team Title with him.

We look back at last week when Al Snow attacked Grado and Mahabali Shera, and smashed Grado's hand with a steel pipe.  We then go to Snow with Billy Corgan, and he says Billy should know better than anybody when Snow had to do what he did because he can't just let anyone walk into this company.  Corgan says he's a producer for the company and he just broke one of the wrestler's arms with a pipe and put him out for at least a month.  Snow says he's old school, but Corgan suspends Snow without pay for a week, and the hope is that he will go out and apologize in public.  Actually, it's more of an expectation, and if he doesn't, there's gonna be a problem.  Snow has a hard time with that, and mutters to himself as he walks away.

Helms and Trevor Lee are in the ring, and Helms says Rome wasn't built in a day, and the dynasty he's building continues from the X Division to the tag team division, and he gave Eddie Edwards a week to make the greatest decision of his career, so he wants Eddie to come out and make it official.  Eddie comes out and thanks Helms for giving him a week to think about it, and all good things take time.  Helms says if you want to talk about time, for over 20 years, Helms has been teaming with guys a lot less talented than Eddie Edwards and has found success, so imagine what he can do WITH Eddie Edwards.  Eddie has nothing but respect for Helms and he appreciates the offer because it would be an honor, but he knows Helms just wants to tag with him because it comes with an automatic title shot, and that title shot belongs to him and Davey Richards.  But now Helms is out here talking about this Helms Dynasty, but why would he want to be a member of a dynasty when he's already part of the Wolves Nation?  So on behalf of himself, Davey Richards, and the Wolves Nation, the answer is no.  Trevor looks pissed, and Helms says he's going to get what he wants, and if it's not with Eddie, it's going to have to be through him.  Helms takes his jacket off and they're about to fight when Beer Money comes out to join Eddie in the ring.  Storm asks if they came at a bad time, because it looks like the two of them were about to jump on one guy, but now there's two other guys in here, and he doesn't know how to take Helms seriously when he looks like a giant booger.  Any time Helms wants some, he can just get in this ring and get him some because they are the World Tag Team Champions, they are BEER...MONEY!  Eddie shakes their hands and leaves, and Storm says they've had tag teams coming out of the woodwork to face them, but they're the best of the best and they can line them up because they're going to keep knocking them down.  Decay comes out, and Rosemary says when we wish on a dying star, it makes no difference who you are because you will DECAYDECAYDECAY.  Abyss says the last time they took that gold, they took it for fun, but this time, they take it forEVER.  The clock is ticking, the time is near.  Storm says where he comes from, it's always Beer:30, ass kicking time!  Beer Money jumps out of the ring and starts brawling with Decay on the floor.  The fight spills into the ring and security comes out to separate the two teams as we go to commercial.

Matt Hardy is backstage, and he lives by a motto: Matt Hardy Will Not Die.  He has built his brand by being smart and resourceful, and Drew Galloway stole food off of Maxel's plate and makes it so Reby can only get four pedicures a week.  That ends tonight because 2016 has been flawless for him except for Drew, and he fixes that tonight when he takes back what is rightfully his.  Tyrus has been walking up behind Matt during this whole promo, and Matt turns around and sees him there, and he asks Tyrus if he's ready, but Tyrus just stares silently.

Beer Money is backstage, and Roode says they're sick of the BS, because every single team that thinks they're a team is trying to get their hands on Beer Money and their titles.  Next week: come one come all, they'll fight anyone who wants a shot because they're putting the titles on the line, and they're going to prove why they're the best of the best.  Storm says he's sorry about our damn luck.

Next week: Ethan Carter III will face Mike Bennett, but right now, it's...MAIN EVENT TIME!  Both scheduled participants make their entrance, and then all eyes are on Tyrus, who takes off his sweatshirt, hat, and headphones.  He takes a mic and is about to declare if he's joining the match, but Hardy backjumps Drew and Tyrus casually steps out of the ring, so it looks like we have a regular singles match...

TNA World Title Match: Drew Galloway vs Matt Hardy

Drew easily fights Matt off and takes him out with a flying clothesline and covers for 2.  Matt fires back and is now taking it to Drew with a choke and some shots in the corner, and comes charging out with a bulldog and a legdrop as we go to commercial.

We're back, and champion and challenger are brawling on the apron, and Spud yanks on Drew's ankle to give Hardy a chance to come in and hit a Side Effect on the ring apron.  Spud chokes Drew on the floor while the referee is distracted with Matt in the ring, and then Matt goes out after Drew and whips him into the ring steps.  Hardy rolls Drew back into the ring and drops an elbow, then drives more elbows into the back of Drew's head.  Drew fires back with some shots of his own, but charges into Matt's boot in the corner and eats a neckbreaker for 2.  Another neckbreaker, another 2 count.  Drew fires up and they trade shots in the middle of the ring until Drew ducks a wild swing and floors Matt with a chop.  Now it's Kobashi chops in the corner on Matt, and an overhead release suplex for 2.  Drew goes to the top rope, Matt goes after him and hits a super gutwrench suplex, but he appears to have hurt his ankle on the way down.  He unties his boot and takes it off, distracting the referee as Spud comes off the top rope and leaps right into Drew's arms, who suplexes him into next week.  Matt then uses his boot to knock Drew flat out and covers for 2.  He goes to the second rope for a howling something, but Drew catches him with a boot as he comes down and hits the Future Shock DDT.  He covers, but Tyrus drags ther referee out to the floor at 2.  Jeff Hardy runs in and attacks Tyrus with a chair on the floor as Matt hits a Twist of Fate in the ring.  The referee comes in just in time to make the count, but Drew kicks out at 2.  Matt yells at his brother, then waits for Drew to get up so he can go for another Twist of Fate.  He takes too long and Drew takes Matt down into the Iron Maiden.  He cranks on it and Matt is finally forced to tap out.

Winner: Drew Galloway

Great main event, and it looks like both Hardys are now in Drew's rearview mirror as they get ready to go to war with one another.
