WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WHO GETS TO WRESTLE CHARLOTTE AT WRESTLEMANIA?, MIZ AND ZIGGLER GETTING READY FOR A MINUTEMAN MATCH?, KOFI VS. STYLES, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2016-03-03 22:23:00

This week’s show starts off with a look at what happened on Monday night between Triple H and Dean Ambrose.

We are in Atlanta, Georgia and your announcers are Mauro Ranallo, Byron Saxton, and Jerry Lawler.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring very gingerly as a result of what happened on Raw.

Dean grabs a chair and he asks if anyone minds if he sits down.  He says he has been bounced off a variety of surfaces and his bruises have combined into a big one.  Dean says he does not like to set a lot of goals.  He works on a five second plan and he lives the life in front of his face.  Some times it does not work.  He angers the beast Brock Lesnar and he gets thrown through a car window.  On Monday night, Triple H went on a diatribe how no one stands up to the Authority.  Then he gets in Hunter’s face and the five second plan turns into a five minute beating.

This time it worked out because on March 12th, he gets a shot at the WWE Championship.  If all goes well, on April 3rd, he will be the one defending the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.  This is where things get messy.  People have already run the commercials and made the posters so he is screwing up the plans.  If Dean Ambrose is the champion on April 3rd, does he defend the title against the man who rightfully earned that spot, Roman Reigns.  It might be the right thing.  However, he really wants another piece of Brock Lesnar.  He has revenge on his mind and he wants to be the man who slays the beast.  However, Triple H runs the place, so he might invoke some rematch clause.

Dean talks about the different combinations and then he suggests that they could throw all four of them into a cage and see what happens.  Dean says anything can happen because this Road to Wrestlemania could get bumpy.  That isn’t for a while so he is going to get there on his own time.  He is going to do his own thing . . .

Kevin Owens’ music plays and he makes his way to the stage as Dean turns to Kevin.

Kevin has a question for Dean.  He wants to know why Dean is out here spewing this crap.  Who gives you the right to come out and open Smackdown this way.  You talk about getting beaten up over the last few weeks.  Last week on Smackdown, you were Brock Lesnar’s doormat.  This week, you were Triple H’s punching bag and the only reason why Triple H stopped was because he wanted to stop punching you in the face.

You have two huge matches coming up.  First you have a WWE Title Match against Triple H at Roadblock.  Then you face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.  Meanwhile, Kevin Owens is YOUR Intercontinental Champion and he does not have a credible contender for Wrestlemania.

Dean says that Kevin could be nicer to people or he could be more proactive and make challenges.  Dean says if you are going to challenge Brock Lesnar, wear a helmet.

Kevin says he does not need advice from Dean because Dean makes him sick.  He calls Dean a waste of space and everything wrong with the WWE.  Kevin says that Dean cannot do anything about this as he pushes Dean.  He says Crazy Dean Ambrose is acting tough sitting there.  You are a broken man.  If he wasn’t such a nice guy, maybe he would take advantage of Dean.  Kevin tries to attack Dean from behind but Dean has summoned Yano powers to avoid Owens and then Dean hits Owens with a chair and Kevin goes to the floor.

Dean tells Kevin that he saw him coming a mile away on the giant TV screen.  Let’s see how smart you are.  Do you want to make this the Kevin Owens Show?  How about you and me right now?
