DOCTOR INVOLVED IN VINCE MCMAHON VS. JANEL GRANT LAWSUIT FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST GRANT'S ATTORNEY

By Mike Johnson on 2025-05-05 08:46:00

Dr. Carlon M. Colker and Peak Wellness Inc. filed a lawsuit on Friday 5/2 before The United States District Court of Connecticut against Janel Grant's lawyer Ann Callis and the Holland Law Firm, accusing them of making false public statements linking Colker to unethical medical practices in connection with the lawsuit Grant has filed against Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis.

The 41-page complaint alleges Callis defamed Colker through a press release and YouTube conference, accusing him of misconduct involving patient Janel Grant. Brito contends that Callis had received and ignored medical records disproving her claims, which she allegedly circulated to major media outlets and social media, allegedly causing reputational and financial harm.  The lawsuit claims the defamatory remarks were made outside legal proceedings and thus, would not be protected by litigation privilege.

In the lawsuit, it states a patient (obviously Grant, given that is the only ongoing legal action involving Colker and Callis) was seen at "least" 60 times and "actively participated in her treatment decisions and was consistently provided with comprehensive explanations of each treatment, including its purpose, ingredients, expected outcomes, and detailed instructions for all supplements and medications."

The lawsuit also states:

"As evidenced in the Medical Records:

-At no point was Patient forced to undergo intravenous infusions.

- At no point was Patient ever administered or directed to take unknown substances by way of intravenous route, orally, or otherwise.

-At no point was Patient directed to take unlabeled drugs.

-At no point did Dr. Colker personally administer any injections to Patient.

-At no point did Patient report experiencing any adverse effects related to her treatments."

The lawsuit also claims that the "patient" stopped her care with Colker in April 2022 "without any indication of dissatisfaction or concern regarding the care she received."

Colker's suit also states that any and all medical records requested by Callis and her legal team were delivered as requested, even despite public allegations that they were being withheld.  The lawsuit includes copies of shipping manifests for the records and an acknowledgement from an Erica Nolan of Holland Law confirming they have received the records dates 7/16/24.

The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages, asserting Callis acted with malice and knowingly spread falsehoods.

Holland Law is also accused of failing to supervise and prevent Callis’ actions.

The defendants have not yet been served.
