Several months ago, PWInsiderElite.com reported that WWE was eyeing taking NXT on the road for the debut CW Network episodes and that Chicago would likely be the destination for the first episode. Chicago is the home of one of the headquarters for Nexstar Media Group, which now owns the CW Network and made the NXT deal.
Today, Shawn Michaels released a Twitter video confirming that the debut episode will indeed emanate from Chicago on 10/1 from the Allstate Arena:

The second episode will broadcast from St. Louis.
The vast majority of NXT episodes have been broadcast from Full Sail University in Florida or The WWE Performance Center.
