By Mike Johnson on 2023-09-10 17:13:00 is reporting that an investigation is underway following an incident involving WWE star Matt Riddle at JFK Airport in New York City yesterday.

Riddle posted a photo of a Port Authority Police Officer, writing in a now-deleted Instagram Post, "Nothing like being sexually assaulted by an officer and harassed at the jfk airport, no means no and just because I'm nice doesn't mean yes!!! A**hole!!! Don't know they're Twitter or instagram handles but I took pictures, normally I'm like whatever but today was really weird and uncomfortable and they made a point to make me feel small and useless. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable travel days I've ever had thanks NYC you're so progressive and accepting!"

TMZ reports that Riddle's post, despite being deleted, triggered an investigation and that "Law enforcement sources tell us Port Authority officers got a call for a disorderly person who was deplaning, and they met him in the terminal. As it turns out, that was Riddle."

They noted that no official police report was filed and that Riddle, who was described as apologetic, was allowed to leave the scene, but then posted about the alleged sexual assault.

Riddle later posted on Instagram that he finally left JFK Airport and never wanted to return.

There is currently an active investigation into Riddle's assault claims.

While WWE had a live event in Long Island,  NY last night, Riddle was not on the show. has reached out to WWE for comment.
