STATE OF THE INDEPENDENTS REPORT

IWTV presented their 2nd “State of the Independents” video this year. Highlights include:

 

- Avery Good is now the head of the IWTV championship committee. He has the final say on everything.

 

- He admits Matt Tremont is a DISPUTED champion since former champ Krule was never beaten…and Tremont also won it as the last participant in a Gauntlet match at Wrestival. 

 

- Tremont is currently injured but says he will be good to wrestle on July 10th…Good will be picking the opponent SOON since Tremont has home turf advantage at the H20 venue.

 

- All IWTV titles must be defended at least once every 90 days. 

 

- On a related note, he observes that it seems like the IWTV tag Titles are only being defended at Wrestling Open….that will soon change.

I will say though: If you don't want the IWTV Tag Belts only defended in Worcester Every Thursday Forever -> Book the champs to defend them elsewhere (& like AC Mack, make sure they are flying Delta 1st Class)...or send your best to take a shot. #StateOfTheIndies @WrestlingOpen

Another DISPUTE that @VeryGoodProWres could resolve: Acknowledge @SBakabella as a the very real former 1-time @indiewrestling champion (making Tremont a 2-time champ).

True to his word, Avery Good announced B3CCA as Tremont’s opponent for July 10th…since she already beat him in a non-title affair. Can she get the job done next week?
