WWE sources have confirmed to PWInsider.com that the Lex Luger: Icons documentary will not debut this weekend as was originally planned.
Sources have indicated that the decision to pull the doc from this weekend's premiere was so that it can be supported by a stronger lead-in. That may mean they want to time the premiere with a larger event, such as a WWE PPV broadcast.
The new premiere date is to be determined. As noted, the original premiere date was 7/4 to time it with the anniversary of Luger slamming Yokozuna on the deck of the U.S.S Intrepid in New York City on 7/4/93.
