JORDAN OLIVER VS. JD DRAKE & MORE: 4/10 TONY DEPPEN'S BIERHAUS ON IWTV.LIVE REPORTS FROM TAMPA, FL

By Josh Higham, Shannon Walsh & Adam Cardoza on 2021-04-10 15:03:00

JOSH HIGHAM REPORTING:

Tony Deppen's Bierhaus - TAMPA, FLORIDA

April 10, 2021 - live on IWTV.TV:

Another company was supposed to run in this slot during IWTV’s Showcase of the Independents, but they have since shut down. So Tony Deppen stepped in and presented Bierhaus, live from Tampa.

Tony Deppen is not dressed to wrestle, and he is our ring announcer after chugging a beer, which he immediately regrets.

Brayden Lee vs Ace Austin

On commentary, Tony Deppen says Brayden Lee has the potential to be where Ace Austin is now in two years. Brayden Lee got the upset win with the rana pin, and Ace Austin attacks after the bell. Ace Austin now has to teleport through time and space to get to Impact’s taped event later this afternoon.

TJ Crawford vs Nolan Edward

As they fight on the floor, Crawford kicks a pillar after Edward ducks, but Crawford ducks an Edward chop to the pillar. Edward fights out of the Drill Bit and connects with the Sick Nick Mondo Bomb, but a Death Valley Driver with a cradle gets the win for Crawford.

Ava Everett vs Kasey Catal

Catal is accompanied by Brandon Kirk. Ava Everett brings out a cake and sings Happy Birthday, because it’s Catal’s birthday. The match goes to the floor, and Kirk sets the cake on a chair for Catal to suplex Everett through. Everett is able to reverse and suplex Catal to the floor. Kirk tries to run distraction, but Everett takes him to the floor. And sure enough, Catal gets cake to the face. But Catal connects with an elevated swinging neckbreaker for the pinfall.

Bierhaus Brawl: Tank w/ The Reverend vs Manders

The Reverend takes the mic and does the intro for Tank. The fight starts right away, and Tank has a fork. Manders gets the fork and does some damage, and Tank is bleeding. Gross. They do the both-sit-on-chairs-and-slap-the-crap-out-of-each-other thing. Tank throws an open chair in Manders’ face. Back in the ring, they trade headbutts and strikes until Tank hits a chokebreaker, and Manders somehow kicks out. The Reverend slides four chairs into the ring. Manders fights off and connects a lariat and side suplex into the chairs. But two Saito suplexes onto the bottoms of chairs gives the bloody Tank the win.

Myron Reed vs Andy Brown

Andy Brown is a student of B-Boy from California. Myron Reed continues to wear a chest protector, which should have been illegal back in the D’Lo days. A running forearm, piledriver, and running knee couldn’t keep Reed down. Reed rolls out of a package piledriver and hits two big moves and only gets a two count. Reed tries to hit a leaping cutter to the floor, but Brown blocks it and gets the package piledriver to the floor. But once back in the ring, Reed kicks out. Brown reverses a reversal, and a jackknife pin keeps Reed down for the three count.

Simon Grimm vs Brandon Kirk

Grimm starts hot and bodyslams Kirk on one of the indoor picnic tables, finally throwing hand sanitizer into Kirk’s eyes before they head back into the ring. Grimm hits a headbutt to the chest and a cradle piledriver before locking in a bulldog choke, and Kirk is out and bleeding from the nose.

Bierhaus Six Pack Challenge: Eric Corvis vs The Whisper vs Cole Radrick vs Ellis Taylor vs Joey Silver vs Jared Evans

The Whisper and Jared Evans come straight from Effy’s Big Gay Brunch. Jared Evans takes the mic and tries to run down the other five in the match after Tony Deppen refuses to introduce him. Joey Silver has chosen to wear a mask over his mouth and nose. A lot of combo offense connecting multiple opponents at once. The Whisper gets the win, pinning Evans.

Tag Team Scramble: The ExerGuys (JP and M3) vs Iron Beast (KTB and Shane Mercer) vs Rohit Raju and Tye Hyll

This was unadvertised. Rohit Raju and Tye Hyll are obviously a makeshift tag team, since Raju said they had to scrape the bottom of the barrel. Iron Beast wins it with a powerbomb from KTB and a German suplex from Mercer onto Tye Hyll.

Heather Monroe vs Billie Starkz

I don’t think Billie Starkz is old enough to drink. Monroe focuses on the back of Starkz, effective to the point where Starkz couldn’t wrench all the way back when she locks in a Boston Crab. Monroe connects with a Michinoku Driver to get the win.

It’s time for the Daniel Garcia Open Challenge, but Emmy Award-winning Jon Alba comes out with his Emmy. Alba announced earlier this week he’s answering the challenge with Charles Mason.

Charles Mason vs Daniel Garcia

Commentary notes the strong Patrick Bateman vibes from Charles Mason. Mason connects with a tornado DDT and locks in a guillotine choke, but Garcia lands some shots to the kidney to break out. Garcia locks in the sharpshooter, and Mason has to tap. Garcia refuses to let go, and Alba gets in the ring. Mason locks in a rear naked choke on Alba and drops him. Garcia locks Alba in a sharpshooter for good measure and takes the Emmy with him.

Before the main event, Tony Deppen chugs another beer and pays tribute to Smart Mark Gary.

JD Drake vs Jordan Oliver

JD Drake is another who has already wrestled today at the Big Gay Brunch. Big fight introductions from Deppen as it’s speed vs size and power. Drake tells Oliver he’s not the small guys you’re used to. Oliver has Drake well-scouted, able to block or counter a lot of Drake’s signature offense, but a spinebuster gives Drake the advantage for a spell. Scary moment as Oliver landed awkwardly on his head attempting a rana. Oliver recovers, tries for a springboard cutter, and gets caught in a rear naked choke. Oliver kicks off the turnbuckle, rolls through, and gets the pin a la Bret Hart at Wrestlemania with Roddy Piper.

The locker room comes out to check on Jordan Oliver. As we fade to black.

We go back to Tampa, and JD Drake has the mic and wants the fans to show appreciation for the wrestlers this weekend. Drake calls Jordan Oliver the future and tells the fans in attendance to go to shows and watch shows, because you’ll never know what you’ll see.

Tony Deppen thanks everyone for coming and watching, and we fade to black for real this time.
