IMPACT TO DEBUT ON PURSUIT THIS FRIDAY, HOW YOU CAN STREAM IT, TV TAPING TONIGHT, BACKSTAGE NOTES FROM HOMECOMING AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-01-07 09:44:00

Impact Wrestling will debut this Friday at 10 PM Eastern on Pursuit.  If you don't get the network (and we've heard from a lot who don't), Impact will be streaming the episodes live on their Twitch.TV account.  If you have an Amazon Firestick, you can add Twitch as an App to easily watch the show that way.

Impact will be taping this Friday's episode tonight at the Nashville Fairgrounds Arena aka the Asylum.  If anyone is attending, we are seeking spoiler reports.  It may end up being one of the last events in the venue, as it is slated for destruction.

The Pursuit Channel's website currently lists Impact as airing from 10-11:30 PM Eastern.  Impact sources have stated that is a mistake and the show will run two hours weekly.

Survivor winner Nick Wilson and Davie Rickenbacker, who were in attendance last night and got into it with Brian Cage during the main event, were said to have been completely gracious and happy to be at the event and were very appreciative backstage after the show.

Backstage at the Homecoming PPV were Jax Dane, Chris Harris, Bram, Crimson, Crazzy Steve and Caleb Konley.  I believe Crimson's promotion, Tried N' True Wrestling helped out with logistics.

NWA President Billy Corgan and Vice President Dave Lagana were in attendance at last night's Homecoming PPV.

Several former Impact staffers, including Impact Wrestling writer Matt Conway, former PPV marketing staffer Amy Zak and former Office Manager Caroline Williams were also in attendance.

Bob Ryder was running the gorilla position.

Jolene George, who handles a lot of costuming for Impact talents, was at the event.  She hasn't been on the road for Impact of late but was there last night.

For those who asked, Dixie Carter was not there.

Impact released the following video of the angle at the end of last night's Homecoming PPV where Killer Kross powerbombed Taya into the crowd:

There were some big segments of fans cheering the heels last night, so even that spot got a babyface reaction in parts of the building.

There were two fans who were not only regulars at every Wednesday night PPV for the company, but were also famous within the company for being two fans who waited overnight to be the first fans to enter the company's first PPV in Huntsville, Alabama.
