WWE ON CBS UNDERCOVER BOSS: CELEBRITY EDITION
Stephanie McMahon goes "undercover" as Sam Miles - a blog writer and WWE Skeptic of a blog called "I don't get it". All these people are part of WWE giving back to fans
She meets Kenny Marquez, a gay gymnastics cheerleading teacher who wants to be the first openly gay WWE World Champion. Before his dad died, him and his mom wanted to buy a house. Stephanie doesn't help teach the class.
Next is Steve Wright, a wedding photographer and wrestling fan. They shoot NXT wrestlers and Stephanie acts scared of the wrestlers. He is Ex-Navy and lost his leg and his fingertips in the military in a tugboat accident on his 21st Birthday. Wrestling got him through the pain and suicidal thoughts. He actually shot photos Connor of Connor's Cure at Wrestemania 30.
Third is the Grande family, who are raising money for Pediatric Cancer (raising money for Connor's Cure). Enzo, a young fan is also a cancer survivor who was diagnosed with ALL in 2011. Enzo is willing to give up his signed AJ Styles glove for the auction. WWE helped his son get through Chemo. The auction raised over $5,000.
We then go to the Performance Center where all the people we have seen get to see the reveal. They think they are getting a VIP Look at the Center. We see Tom Phillips, Jeff Hardy, Big Cass, and the Big Show. Big Show brings "Sam Miles" in the ring. She fakes it when asked to do a "promo" and gets "bumped" into. And she reveals herself.
The gifts are: Kenny becomes an ambassador for the bullying program, a one on one mentoring session with Kurt Angle and $25,000 for the house they wanted to get. Steve gets a shot to shoot Tribute to the Troops and $10,000 for equipment along with an interview with the photography department. The Grande family gets 12 cases of toys to donate to kids in hospitals. She matches the $5,000 donation they raised. They get $25,000 to pay off some medical bills and a trip to SD Live.
