ORTON ON EDGE & CHRISTIAN PODCAST RECAP

Randy Orton appeared on this morning's Edge and Christian podcast discussing a multitude of topics.

The Viper talks about looking good in small trunks as you get older, the history of Edge, Christian, and Orton including injuries during matches and great chemistry. They discuss what Orton's instinct brought to the table and what the Apex Predator learned from Edge and Christian. Randy discussed now giving the next generation. The Viper says that he hopes in the few years when he re-signs with the company, Randy can build enough stars where they don't need him for a European tour for example.

Christian dispels the rumors of Randy burying talent pointing out their long feud in 2011 Orton fought for Christian winning the title sooner than he did. They discuss those series of matches and the creativity to keep the feud going for as long as they did to Summerslam. Christian talks Randy fighting for the feud to continue even though backstage they wanted to change plans before the pay-per-view.

Randy discussed being a dad being outnumbered by his kids. Orton talks about how fatherhood changed him as a person. He said he's happy at work and at home. Randy says he doesn't want to be away from his family but due to John Cena moving to Raw, he's needed for overseas tours. The Viper documents the recent tour to Australia and China, the hardship that becomes but they all work together as a family. Orton said his family are his best friends. And he realizes he's lucky that it's a hard balance to achieve. 

Randy says his kids want him to become an actor, even revealing that he and Edge read for an unnamed part in a Marvel movie. Orton talks about his kids loving WWE and being excited for what dad does.
