WWE RAW REPORT: A BLUEPRINT TO BEAT BROCK?, A CONTRACT SIGNING, CHAMPION VERSUS CHAMPION, A REMATCH FROM SMACKDOWN, AND MORE

What will happen tonight when the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar are in the same building at the same time for the first time since their brawl that went all over the building a few weeks ago?

We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota and your announcers are Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and John Layfield.

We begin with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie welcomes everyone to Raw. She says they have a lot of news. It feels like Christmas morning when you are waiting to open your presents. The tension is so thick, you can cut it with a knife.

Stephanie says the Barclays Center is sold out, but you can watch it on the WWE Network. Hunter reminds us it is an Award Winning Network. Hunter mentions that it will be four hours. He says careers will be defined and scores will be settled. Hunter says history will be made.

Hunter mentions the Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar match. Stephanie mentions that Brock and the Undertaker will be in the building tonight. Hunter mentions the Title versus Title Match with John Cena facing Seth Rollins.

Stephanie mentions that they will be here face to mangled face so there will be a contract signing.

Hunter mentions the Two Thirds of the Shield versus Two Thirds of the Wyatt Family Match featuring Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns versus Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Hunter mentions that Luke Harper will face Roman Reigns (never mind it happened on Smackdown).

Stephanie mentions the Divas Elimination Trios Match and that Sasha Banks will face Nikki Bella tonight.

Hunter says there will be nine matches on SummerSlam on the four hour show.

Stephanie mentions that there is an incredible host for SummerSlam. The former host of the Daily Show Jon Stewart will be the host.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring for the opening match.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One: Randy Orton and Cesaro versus Kevin Owens and Sheamus

Cesaro and Owens start things off and Owens decides to tag in Sheamus before locking up. Orton wants to be tagged in so he can face Sheamus and Cesaro does it. They circle each other and Sheamus goes to the floor to listen to the crowd insult his look and Sheamus tells everyone to respect the ‘hawk’. Sheamus returns to the ring. Sheamus with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. They lock up again and Orton with a side head lock. Orton with a shoulder tackle or two and then Sheamus goes to the floor. Sheamus returns to the ring and he tags in Owens.

Cesaro wants the tag and Owens attacks Orton who takes too much time to make the tag. Orton with a boot and Owens with an Irish whip and Orton with a clothesline out of the corner. Cesaro tags in and he hits a delayed vertical suplex. Owens with a knee and punches. Cesaro with a springboard European uppercut and Owens goes to the floor and we go to commercial.

We are back and Orton with punches and head butts to Sheamus. Sheamus with a Finlay slam and then Owens tags in and hits a back senton for a near fall. Owens knocks Cesaro off the apron and goes with the old timey fighting pose before kicking and punching Orton. Sheamus tags in and he kicks Orton. Sheamus chokes Orton in the ropes. Sheamus with a splash into the corner followed by a running knee lift and he gets a near fall.

Owens tags back in and he kicks Orton. Owens with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Owens throws Orton to the floor and then Owens goes to the floor after Orton. Orton with a kick and back drop driver onto the ringside barrier. Orton gets back into the ring and Owens struggles to get back in and Sheamus tags in and he grabs Orton. Orton kicks Sheamus away and Cesaro tags in.

Cesaro with European uppercuts to Sheamus followed by an Irish whip and running European uppercut. Cesaro does it three times and then he hits a series of European uppercuts and ends with a short arm clothesline. Cesaro goes up top for a cross body and he gets a near fall. Cesaro tries for the giant swing but Sheamus gets to the ropes.

Sheamus with a forearm to Cesaro and then he hits a power slam. Sheamus goes up top but he comes off and is met with a European uppercut and Cesaro gets a near fall. Sheamus goes for a back body drop but Cesaro lands on his feet. Cesaro with a kick and he tags in Orton. Sheamus with a forearm to Cesaro and Cesaro kicks Owens off the apron. Orton with an IEDDT to Sheamus and then he looks around and tries for an RKO on Owens but Owens blocks it.

Orton with an RKO on Sheamus for the three count.

Winners: Randy Orton and Cesaro

Michael Cole reminds us that The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will be in the building together tonight.

We take a look back at the Undertaker’s return at Battleground when he made Seth Rollins disappear in the WWE Title Match and what happened since that moment.

We go to commercial and the Undertaker will appear when we come back.

The Undertaker says that when the reaper calls your name, there is no apology. When the reaper calls your name, there will be no remorse. When the reaper calls your name, it’s just over. Lesnar, the hounds of hell are baying for your soul and the gates of hell are opening and welcoming you to your eternal damnation. Brock Lesnar . . . your name has been called. At SummerSlam, you will never REST . . . IN . . . PEACE

We are reminded of John Cena having his nose broken last month.

Seth Rollins says that Hunter and Stephanie are the best. John Cena has done everything but look him in the eye to accept his challenge face to face. The contract signing will seal the deal.

Seth says that is perfect. He has one other favor. After he beats John Cena at SummerSlam, he would like for them to make a statue of him next to Bruno Sammartino, Andre the Giant, and The Ultimate Warrior.

Stephanie says if Seth can defeat John Cena and hold both titles, he would deserve a statue among the legends. Hunter says consider it done if he can do it.

Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring to be at ringside with Roman Reigns for his match against Luke Harper.

We take a look at the match from Smackdown that set up this next match, that happens to be the same match that we will see next.

Before the match starts, Dean Ambrose gives Bray Byron Saxton’s chair to sit and watch the match.

Match Number Two: Roman Reigns (with Dean Ambrose) versus Luke Harper (with Bray Wyatt)

They lock up while Dean warns Bray not to go near the ring or he will break his kneecaps. They lock up again and go to a stalemate. Harper with a punch but Reigns punches back. Harper with a kick and uppercut. Harper sends Reigns into the turnbuckles but Reigns punches back. Reigns with more punches and he tries to send Harper into the turnbuckles but Harper blocks it and he punches Reigns.

Harper with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Harper holds on to the head lock as Reigns backs him into the corner. Reigns with shoulders. Reigns with a punch and head butt. Reigns with a kick. Reigns misses the flying clothesline but he is able to clothesline Harper over the top rope to the floor. Reigns goes to the floor for the Juggernaut broad jump drop kick and we go to commercial.

We are back and Harper with a side head lock after a probably Gator Roll. Harper with a reverse chin lock and we see Harper with a drop kick during the commercial. Reigns punches Harper and Reigns blocks a suplex attempt. Harper with a thrust to the throat and then he hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Harper with a rear chin lock. Reigns with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down.

Harper with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Harper with a front face lock. Harper with a Gator Roll into a side head lock. Harper with a reverse chin lock. Harper and Reigns with punches and then Reigns with clotheslines and a flying clothesline. Reigns runs into an elbow from Harper but Reigns with an uppercut. Harper with a knee and Reigns with a waist lock suplex.

Reigns with Neverending Story and then he is sent to the apron. Reigns with a punch and then he drops down and Harper goes over the top rope to the floor. Reigns with a clothesline from the apron onto Harper. They return to the ring and Harper with a thrust kick and he sets for the power bomb but Reigns with a punch. Reigns sets for a power bomb but Harper with a back drop and Reigns holds on for a sunset flip and he gets a near fall.

Reigns clotheslines Harper to the floor. Reigns sends Harper back into the ring and Reigns with a clothesline for a near fall. Reigns goes for a Samoan drop but Harper with elbows. Reigns finally hits the Samoan drop and gets a near fall. Reigns sets for the Superman punch and Harper sees the cocking of the arm so he goes to the floor. Reigns follows and Harper with a super kick.

Harper goes for a suicide dive but Reigns with a Superman punch on the floor but Harper with a Bossman slam for a near fall. Harper sets for a power bomb but Reigns counters and gets Harper on his shoulders. Reigns goes for a rollup but Harper with a super kick and he hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Reigns with a Superman punch to counter a discus clothesline and Reigns with a spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Ambrose walks in front of Wyatt before going into the ring to celebrate with Reigns.
