By Mike Johnson on 2015-05-12 19:44:00

IWGP Tag Team champions Michael Bennett & Matt Taven vs. IWGP Junior Tag Tean champions The Young Bucks vs. ROH Tag Team champions The Addiction.

The chances of me trying to keep up with this one are close to zero, so but I will do my best.   As you can imagine, there were a ton of double team maneuvers.  The Bucks nailed a double dive to the outside.  Matt Taven hit a dive on everyone.

When they returned to the ring, Bennett dropkicked one of the Bucks and locked him in a chinlock.  The crowd chanted, "Where's Maria?" at Bennett. Kazarian tagged in and worked over Bennett.  Daniels soon joined the fray.  The Addiction skowed down the ace of the but and kept control for a long time, working over Bennett.

Bennett finally mounted a comeback and tagged Taven.  The Bucks returhed to the fray and laid out everyone with superkicks.  Nick Jackson hit an awesome moonsault off the top to the floor.  They set up a spot where Matt Jackson went for a sunset flip powerbomb to the outside on Kazarian onto Daniels but he held on  Nick superkicked him to daze him and hit the move.

Nick then nailed a swanton on Daniels who was stretched over the middle rope.  They all went back and forth.  Kazarian nailed a cutter off the ropes on Nick Jackson.  One of the Bucks went to superkick Daniels who dodged it and the referee was wiped out.   The Bucks cleaned house and hit The IndyTaker for the pin.

Moose,]Stokely Hathaway and Veda Scott came out.  Hathaway said that Moose should be the number one contender to the ROH title and asked for one.  Scott demanded Moose get a shot and got angry at Hathaway for not following the plan.

Michael Elgin vs. Tetsuya Naito

Elgin and Naito traded shulderblocks to test each other early.  Naui nailed a leaping top rope rana.  They battled to the floor.  Elgin went for a piledriver but was backdropped on the floor    They returned to the ring, where Elgin's power kept Naito at bay.  Elgin nailed a nice slingshot suplex into a neckbreaker.  Naito's facial expressions were awesome.

Naito finally made a comeback and nailed a slingshot kick over the ropes for a two count.   Naito went for a waistlock but Elgin drilled him eih a stiff forearm.  Naito elbowed his way out of a waistlock but Elgin took him down.  Elgin went for a lariat but was nailed with an enziguiri.  Naito nailed a swinging DDT off the ropes for a two count.

Naito went for another rana, but Elgin caught him and went for a powerbomb.  Naito turned it into a rana for a two count.  He slammed Elgin and went to the top but was caught with a dropkick.  They went back and forth with some nice strong exchanges.  Elgin killed him with a lariat for a two count.  Elgin nailed a buckle bomb.  He went for another but Naito rolled through and scored the pin,

Your winner, Tetsuya Naito!

RedDragon vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Jushin Liger

Liger and Kyle O'Reilly started and had some good back and forth wrestling early.  Liger controlled the action including using a bow and arrow.  Tanahashi and Fish tagged in.  Liger was cornered and worked over for a long time by ReDragon.  Liger attempted a sunset flip but O'Reilly grabbed a cross arm breaker.

RedDragon tagged in and out working Liger over.  They scored several two counts as the crowd rallied Liger to make a comeback.  Liger finally nailed the tiltowhirl backbreaker.  Tanahashi tagged in and nailed a Dragon Screw Legwhip.  He and O'Reilly drilled each other with strikes. Tanahashi nailed a somersalt senton off the middle rope for a two count.

Tanahashi drilled Kyle, who was wobbly on his feet.  Tanahashi mocked him but O'Reilly swept his legs out from under him.  They battled back and forthn untiil Tanahashi nailed a DDT and tagged in Liger.  Liger cleaned house with palm strikes  Liger was accidentally struck by Tanahashi.  That allowed RedDragon to clean house and send Hiroshi to the floor.  Kyle sailed off the apron with a flying knee to the floor.

ReDragon double teamed and pinned Liger.

Your winners, ReDragon!

Good tag match.  The right finish as Liger is the older veteran and you aren't going to have Tanahashi lose.

All four shook hands and embraced after.

AJ Styles vs. Adam Cole

Tiger Hatori is the ref.

Big reaction for each.  They shake hands.  Lots of good back and forth wrestling.  Cole shows no signs of ring rust.  Styles held onto the ropes, causing Cole to miss a dropkick.  Styles nailed a leaping forearm and took control.  Cole poked him in the eyes.  Styles came back with a dropkick.  Lots of matwork here.  Good stuff.

Styles fights his way out of a chinlock.  Cole tried to charge but was caught and suplexed into the buckles.  Styles nailed a Torture Rack into a spinning sitdown powerbomb for a two count.  Cole came back with a suplex, dropping Styles down onto his knee as Styles crashed to the mat.

Cole placed Styles on the buckles but AJ slipped out and smashed him into the buckles.  Styles went for the springboard flying forearm but as caught with a superkick in mid-flight.  Cole locked Styles in the figure four leglock, trying to force the submission.  They battled to the outside and fought on the apron, where Styles drilled Cole down with a brainbuster like move nhead-first on the apron.  The crowd went nuts for that, "chanting Holy Sh**!"

Cole was nearly counted out but slipped back in just as the referee was going to hit 20.  They went back and forth with hot moved.  Styles missed The Pele Kick and was nailed with a superkick for a two count.  Cole hit Styles with his own finisher, The Styles Clash, for a two count.    The crowd went back and forth with dueling chants as the two battled in the corner.  Cole kicked his way out of a Styles Clash attempt but was nailed with a Pele Kick.  Styles nailed the Clash for the pin.

Your winner, AJ Styles!

Just an awesome, great match.  So great.

ROH champion Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Kazuchida Okada.

Huge reactions for all four.  Okada and Jay started out and went back and forth.  Mark and Nakamura tagged in and the place went nuts for Nakamura.  They had a great sequence doing martial arts back and forth until Nakamura was sent over the ropes and Mark dropkicked him through the ropes.

Nakamura took control on the floor and nailed a knee off the apron.  Okada tagged in and continued the assault on Mark, nailing a low dropkick.  Briscoe came back with a jawjacker but was cut off and drilled into the corner with a series of knees.  Nakamura charged but was drilled with a kick.   Mark nailed a Rolling Samoan Drop and tagged in Jay, who began drilling tons of hard forearms.

Nakamura cut him off with a series of spinkicks.  They all went back and forth with tons of great spots and near falls,  Nakamura charged Briscoe but was hit with a big Uranage.  Okada took control and tied up Briscoe in a submission move  The battled continued back and forth.

Briscoes went for the Doomsday Device but Okada nailed a rana on Mark, but was then nailed with a stiff forearm from Jay.  Okada drilled Mark with a dropkick and then a flying elbow.  He nailed the Rainmaker on Mark and scored the pin.

Your winners, Shinsuke Nakamura & Kazuchida Okada!

A great main event.  So many wonderful little things that would take forever to recap and I couldn't "in the moment" live.  Just go out of your way to see the show.

Bobby Fish hit the ring and nailed Briscoe to build heat for tomorrow's title bout.
