CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE: Akeem was originally scheduled to compete as a member of the Mercenaries, but left the company prior to the event. Boris Zhukov replaced him on the team...."Ravishing" Rick Rude was originally scheduled to compete as a member of the Natural Disasters, but was "suspended" prior to the event by WWF President Jack Tunney. Haku replaced him on the team.

NOTES: Gorilla Monsoon & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper did commentary for the event. "Mean" Gene Okerlund & Sean Mooney handled interviews. Howard Finkel was the ring announcer....This was the last Survivor Series to air on Thanksgiving. Beginning the following year, the pay-per-view would move to Thanksgiving Eve.

Buck Woodward: The Gooker and The Undertaker both debut. What a historic event! ... I really liked the idea of having the Survivors meet again in a final match. ... I popped big for Tito Santana getting into the final match, and for getting the quick elimination on Warlord. Tito was a workhorse for WWF, and deserved a bit of the spotlight. ... Bret Hart and Ted DiBiase had a nice exchange at the end of their match. ... Wow, who would have known how well "Mark Callous in whiteface and rubber gloves" would turn out.

Mike Johnson: I don’t think anyone could have guessed what a huge star the Undertaker would become when he debuted here. When you look at the talent that was on this show and the names that are on the 2004 version of the show, it’s amazing how many stars have come in and out of the company, yet Taker is still here....That Gobbledy Gooker debut may still be one of the most mindboggling things of all time. Why didn’t they just hire the San Diego Chicken?....I liked the idea of the final match of Survival, and was pretty surprised Tito Santana made it all the way there. It was a nice tease for a Hulk Hogan-Ultimate Warrior rematch as well, although that never happened....Power & Glory was a really underrated team at the time.
