WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: GOLDUST VERSUS ROLLINS; REAL AMERICANS IN ACTION; ZIGGLER VERSUS SANDOW

We are in Birmingham, Alabama and your announcers are Josh ‘Roll Tide’ Mathews and The Miz.

Match Number One: Goldust (with Cody Rhodes) versus Seth Rollins (with Roman Reigns )

They lock up and Goldust with a side head lock but Goldust holds on when Rollins tries to send him off the ropes. Rollins with punches but Goldust with a shoulder tackle and a near fall. Goldust with an arm drag and Rollins goes to the floor to discuss strategy with Reigns.

Rollins gets back into the ring and Goldust crawls back into the corner. Rollins with a side head lock but Goldust with forearms. Rollins with a shoulder tackle but Goldust with a hip toss and arm drag. Rollins goes back to the floor. Goldust and Cody discuss some strategy while Rollins returns to the ring.

Goldust tells Rollins to kiss his ass but Rollins with a kick and forearm to the back followed by kicks. Rollins with a punch and kicks. Rollins sends Goldust into the turnbuckles. Rollins tries to send Goldust into a third set of turnbuckles but Goldust stops him and he sends Rollins into the turnbuckles. Goldust stomps on the hand and gets a near fall.

Goldust with a wrist lock but Rollins with punches. Rollins with kicks in the corner followed by a snap mare and drop kick to the back for a near fall. Rollins with a reverse chin lock. Goldust gets back to his feet and he punches Rollins. Goldust holds on to the ropes and then he sends Rollins over the top rope to the floor. Goldust follows and he punches Rollins while Cody and Reigns watch at a distance.

Goldust gets distracted by Reigns and Rollins comes from behind and he sends Goldust into the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with a reverse chin lock and he puts his weight on Goldust to add more pressure. Rollins covers Goldust but he does not get a count because the referee was making sure Reigns and Cody did not get involved. Rollins with a shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall.

Rollins with a rear chin lock and he tries to affect Goldust’s breathing. Goldust with a back slide for a near fall. Rollins with a hard Irish whip. Rollins slaps Goldust in the head and then he sends Goldust into the opposite corner with a hard Irish whip. Rollins kicks Goldust and then he Irish whips Goldust again but Goldust with a power slam when Rollins charges at him.

Goldust with punches to Rollins followed by clotheslines. Goldust with a drop down uppercut followed by a reverse atomic drop and bulldog. Goldust gets a near fall. Goldust tries for a suplex but Rollins backs him into the corner and connects with shoulders. Goldust with a boot to a charging Rollins. Goldust blocks a kick but he cannot avoid the enzuigiri from Rollins and both men are down again.

Rollins with a near fall. Goldust struggles to get back to his feet and Rollins with a running forearm into the corner. Rollins goes to the apron and then he goes up top. Rollins misses the knee and Goldust with a spinebuster for a near fall. Rollins kicks Goldust away as he goes to the apron.

Goldust with punches to Rollins and Rollins struggles to stay on the apron. Goldust drops Rollins on the top rope and Rollins falls to the floor. Goldust sends Rollins into the ringside barrier and then he suplexes Rollins on the floor.

Goldust rolls Rollins back in and Goldust has some words for Reigns. Reigns does not back down. Cody knocks Reigns down but when Goldust returns to the ring, Rollins gets a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Miz has a John Cena Brawling Buddy and it is no coincidence that we have a John Cena video package.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro (with Zeb Colter) versus Darren Young and Titus O’Neil

Swagger and Titus start things off and Swagger with knees to the midsection. Titus blocks a punch and he connects with punches. Titus floats over and then Titus with a fallaway throw. Titus with a bark and then he tags in Darren. They hit a double shoulder tackle and Darren gets a near fall. Young with knees and a forearm. Swagger with an elbow and Cesaro tags in but Young does not realize it. Young with a Northern Lights suplex to Swagger but Cesaro with a double stomp to the chest.

Cesaro sends Young into the turnbuckles and he connects with a European uppercut. Swagger tags in and he connects with shoulders. Swagger with a short arm clothesline and Swagger with the Swagger Bomb and Cesaro tags in for the leap frog double stomp. Young rolls to the floor and Cesaro follows after him and Cesaro with a knee to the midsection. Cesaro rolls Young back in and he gets a near fall.

Cesaro with a reverse chin lock but Young with forearms. Cesaro keeps Young from tagging in his partner and Cesaro walks Young into the corner for Snake Eyes. Swagger tags back in and he takes Young down with a fireman’s carry and then he traps the arms. Swagger keeps Young from making the tag again. Young knocks Cesaro off the apron and then he hits Swagger with an enzuigiri.

Titus and Cesaro tag in and Titus with a shoulder tackle and boot to the chest. Titus with a splash into the corner and then he barks. Titus tries for the fallaway throw to Cesaro but Swagger gets in the ring. Cesaro dives at the knees and then he puts Titus in the Giant Swing. Cesaro with a boot to Young to knock him off the apron.

Cesaro tags Swagger in and he hits a KneeDT before applying the ankle lock and Titus taps out.

Winners: Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Raw Rebound.

We are told by Josh Mathews that Triple H will be interviewed live on Smackdown by Michael Cole.

Match Number Three: Cameron and Naomi versus Aksana and Alicia Fox

Naomi and Alicia start things off and they lock up. Naomi with a side head lock take down. Naomi uses the ropes for a sunset flip and a near fall. Alicia with a drop kick but Naomi with a boot and Cameron tags in and hits a rana. Alicia sends Cameron over the top rope but Cameron lands on the apron. Cameron kicks Aksana when she tries to interfere.

Alicia with a drop kick for a near fall. Aksana tags in and she kicks Cameron. Aksana sends Cameron face first to the mat and then Aksana tries for a slam but Cameron counters and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Naomi with a rana and a drop kick. Naomi goes into the ropes and she connects with a forearm. Naomi goes to the apron for a kick. Naomi with a snap mare followed by a leaping leg drop and she gets a near fall but Alicia breaks up the cover and she goes after Cameron on the apron.

Cameron trips Alicia and Naomi with a leaping butt bump to Aksana for the three count.

Winners: Cameron and Naomi

Josh and Miz talk about whether Sunday will mark the end of Paul Heyman.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Dolph Ziggler versus Damien Sandow

They lock up and Ziggler with a side head lock. Ziggler holds on to the side head lock when Sandow tries to send him off the ropes. Sandow runs Ziggler’s throat into the ropes and Sandow with shoulders in the corner. Sandow with punches and kicks while the referee warns him. Sandow with more kicks.

Ziggler with punches to Sandow but Sandow with a knee to the midsection and then he punches Ziggler. Sandow with a knee to the back and he rubs Ziggler’s face in the mat. Sandow with a slam followed by a leaping knee drop and he gets a near fall. Sandow with head butts to the back of the neck and he applies a quarter nelson and chin lock.

Ziggler with punches but Sandow with a forearm to the back followed by a kick. Sandow with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow. Ziggler goes up top and he hits a missile drop kick and both men are down. Ziggler with punches but Sandow with a kick. Ziggler with a kick but Sandow sends Ziggler through the ropes to the floor.

Sandow slams Ziggler’s head into the apron and he rolls him back into the ring. Sandow with a near fall. Sandow kicks Ziggler in the ribs and he hits the Elbow of Disdain for a near fall. Sandow exposes the knee when he pulls down the knee pad and he misses a knee drop when Ziggler moves. Sandow misses a clothesline and Ziggler with a punch. Sandow with a kick but Ziggler with clotheslines.

Ziggler punches Sandow and then he hits a flying clothesline. Ziggler leaps into the corner and he punches Sandow followed by a neck breaker. Ziggler hits the Fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler tries for a DDT but Sandow pushes him away. Sandow with a kick to the knee followed by the Silencer for the three count.

Winner: Damien Sandow
