This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, August 3, 2013. Tonight, Jamin Olivencia defended the OVW Heavyweight Title against Jay Bradley, Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez defended the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against the VIP Club, Trina defended the OVW Women's Title against Heidi Lovelace, Dylan Bostic defended the OVW Television Title against Flash Flanagan, Randy Royal, & Rudy Switchblade, plus much more!

Here we go...

Danny Davis comes to the ring first and talks about OVW's new monthly event, Old School. It will take fans back to the 80's style of wrestling with 80's prices. He then calls out Jessie Godderz and says that when a man makes a bet and loses, he has to honor it.
He says Jessie will have a match tonight and he has to wear the bunny suit or he's fired and will call his contacts in TNA to see that he's suspended there, too.
Jessie leaves the ring and argues with super fan "Micro" who had this sign for a decent time, before going to the back.

The A-List (Taeler Hendrix & Envy) come out as special guest ring announcers. Taeler says she should be in a title match, then her & Envy introduce the teams.
TAG TEAM MATCH: Bodyguy & 4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus vs. "The Really Really New Rockers" Ryan Howe & Rockstar Spud.
Spud asks Taeler & Envy what the "A" stands for in A-List, is it A for Annoying? He says no one wants to see Little Red Riding Hood with a fat backside (Taeler), or Carrot Top with overpriced implants (Envy).
Howe & Bodyguy lock up. Howe with an armbar, tags Spud. Spud hits Bodyguy's arm off the 2nd rope. Howe is tagged and works over the arm some more. 4M tags in. He locks up with Howe and slings Howe across the ring. Howe comes back and locks up 4M from behind, but 4M slings him off. Howe grabs 4M's arm, but 4M shoves him down. 4M tags Bodyguy who locks in a sleeper. Howe drags himself to his corner and tags Spud. He throws Bodyguy off the ropes and they deliver a double hip toss. Spud delivers 3 dropkicks. Bodyguy grabs the ref, allowing 4M to club Spud from behind. Bodyguy tags 4M and 4M delivers a big slam. Bodyguy is tagged back in, hits Spud in the gut, and slams him. He drops a forearm, then goes up top. He tries a forearm from the top, but Spud moves. Spud crawls through Bodyguy's legs to tag Howe. Howe fires away and as he hits an atomic drop, 4M blind tags. He charges at Howe, but Howe moves, and 4M plows into Bodyguy. Howe tags Spud, hits the Chart Topper on 4M, and Spud follows it up with the flying elbow for the 3.
WINNERS: ROCKERS by pinfall.

The Blossoms are our special guest ring announcers for this match:
6-MAN TAG: The Marauders: "Thunderlats" Joe Coleman, "Rudo" Raul LaMotta, & Shiloh Jonze vs. Aaron Sky & Lambda Lambda Lambda: Albert Einstein Baxter II & Stephon J. Baxter III.
Shiloh tells his opponents they have the opportunity to just walk away, but they don't and fire away on the Marauders. They all work over the arm of Coleman. The Baxters try to each twist the arm of Coleman, but he rams them into each other. He goes off the ropes, but they catch him with a double hip toss. Coleman grabs Stephon and throws him from the ring. Raul & Shiloh hit him and Flash hits him with the kendo stick. Shiloh & Raul double team him and Raul rakes his eyes. He stomps him and tags Coleman back. Coleman slams him and hits a splash after jumping over him and off the second rope. Shiloh comes in and hits a knee drop for 2. Coleman is back and kicks him and goes for another splash, but Stephon moves. Aaron gets the hot tag and comes in on fire. Flash distracts the ref as Aaron hits a big cross body off the top. Shiloh hits Aaron with a flying fist off the top rope, and Coleman covers him for the 3.

Nikki St. John is the special ring announcer.
Elvis Pridemoore vs. "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer.
Dumeyer fires away and chops Elvis. Elvis fires back and keeps Dumeyer from hitting his bulldog finisher. He connects with a roundhouse kick. Dumeyer comes back and hits the bulldog, but Elvis grabs his iPod and clocks Dumeyer to get the 3.
WINNER: ELVIS by pinfall.
After the match, the Assassin comes out, but Elvis ducks his clotheslines and runs off. Assassin then helps Dumeyer up and raises his hand.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Eddie F. Diamond (w/Timmy Danger).
Jessie misses with some wild swings. EFD stomps on his foot to make him "hop". Jessie locks in a side headlock and every time EFD tries to break loose, he grabs him by the hair to keep him in the hold. Finally, EFD reverses, and does the same to Jessie, pulling hi back into the side headlock by his bunny ears while Danger distracted the ref. EFD slams Jessie and delivers a hip toss. He hits an inverted atomic drop followed by a dropkick. EFD forearms Jessie, but Jessie grabs him and pulls him out of the ring. EFD comes back in into a powerslam for 2. As Jessie yells over to Dean Hill, EFD tries to roll Jessie up for 2. Jessie gets angry and pounds away on EFD, but EFD comes back with an enziguri to the head. Both men are down. EFD comes up firing away. He hits a backdrop, a backflip, and the Soulja Boy Shuffle for the 3.
WINNER: DIAMOND by pinfall.
After the match, Jessie argues with "Micro" and other fans who are calling him a loser and yelling at him to "hop on back".

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The VIP Club ("VIP" Joe Rosa, Roberto De Luna, & J. Best) vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes (c).
Ali & Hayes are facing VIP & Best when VIP announces that he chooses Roberto as his partner under "VIP Club" rules. Roberto sneaks in behind Ali and puts him in a headlock. Ali omes back and him & Hayes work Roberto over in the corner. VIP is tagged in and he gets worked over as well. Hayes throws Ali into VIP, splashing him in the corner. Hayes comes back in and headbutts and backdrops VIP, and then does the same to Roberto. Best gets on the apron, but Ali clocks him. Meanwhile, VIP hits Hayes from behind. He double teams Hayes with Roberto while the ref tries to get Ali back in the corner. Roberto rams Hayes in the corner with his shoulder and splashes him. VIP tags in and hits Hayes, but misses his V-I-P legdrop. Roberto comes in and misses. VIP grabs Hayes for Roberto, but Hayes breaks free and Roberto hits VIP. Hayes tags Ali, and he fires away on them and DDT's Roberto. Best tries to hit Ali from behind, but Ali moves and Best hits Roberto. Hayes gives Best the kneebuster and Ali hits the neckbreaker. He then pins Roberto for the win.

Lei'd Tapa makes Terry Boddie bow down as she announces the participants for the Women's Title match:
OVW WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Heidi Lovelace vs. Trina Thompson (c).
They lock up and Heidi runs into Trina and bounces off. Trina plows her down and wraps Heidi's arms around her neck in a submission. Heidi breaks out and dropkics Trina, but doesn't knock her down. She goes for a second, but misses. She pulls Heidi's arms back with her knee in the middle of Heidi's back for another submission. Heidi hits Trina off, but as she gets up, Trina charges her and clotheslines her hard. Trina throws her from corner to corner. The third time, Heidi jumps up and locks her legs around Trina's head, but Trina drops her down on her face. She charges Heidi in the corner, but Heidi moves. She charges again, and again Heidi moves. Heidi with 2 clotheslines that don't knock down Trina, but a dropkick does. 2 count. Heidi goes up top, but Trina gets to her and slams her off the top for 2. Trina goes for the samoan drop, but Heidi slides over and rolls Trina up for 2. Trina grabs Heidi and this time connects with the samoan drop for the 3.
WINNER: TRINA by pinfall.
After the match, Tapa tells Trina that she can hold on to the title now, but she is in her ring, her island, and will make Trina look like an elephant and take the Women's Title and dominate.

OVW TV TITLE MATCH: "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal vs. Rudy Switchblade vs. Flash Flanagan (w/the Marauders) vs. "The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling & King of Pink" Dylan Bostic (c). 
Before the match even starts, Tony Gunn runs out and brawls to the back with Royal, basically making this a triple threat. Also, referee Chris Sharpe throws the Marauders out. Dylan tries to roll up Flash, but Rudy sunset flips Dylan. Flash is knocked out of the ring. Rudy slides out, but Flash clotheslines him. Dylan flies out of the ring crashing into Flash. Dylan tries to roll Rudy up as Flash gets on the apron. Flash flips over both of them, rolling Dylan up and Rudy goes flying across the ring. Rudy comes back and gets Flash in the elevated Boston crab. Dylan gets back up and kicks Rudy in the head to break the hold. Flash grabs Dylan and holds him as Rudy charges with a dropkick. Dylan moves, and Flash is dropkicked. Flash comes back and DDT's and suplexes Dylan & Rudy simultaneously. Flash goes up top, but Dylan jumps up and catches him. He goes for a suplex as Rudy gets up. Rudy gets underneath Dylan and powerbombs Dylan as Dylan suplexes Flash. Rudy gets back to his feet and hits the frog splash on Dylan, but Flash distracts the ref. The Marauders return to ringside and pull Rudy from the ring. Flash crawls over and pins Dylan for the 3.
OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Jay Bradley vs. Jamin Olivencia (c).
Jay locks up with Jamin in the ropes. Jamin with a back elbow and a spinning kick. Jay to the outside, Jamin dropkicks Jay through the ropes. Jay pulls Jamin out and hits his head off the apron. He charges Jamin back inside, but Jamin knees him in the head. Jay pulls Jamin to the outside. Going out, Jamin gets back up and kicks the rope, low-blowing Jay. Jay falls to the outside. Jamin gets on the ring apron and hits Jay with flying knees to the head. He hits Jay around the outside of the ring. He rolls Jay in and goes up top. Jay gets back up and hits Jamin with a big boot, knocking him to the floor. Back inside, Jay hits Jamin and locks him in a bearhug. Jamin headbutts Jay to break free and delivers the jumping clothesline. He runs into Jay's knee in the corner. Jay with a big suplex for 2. Jay kicks, slams, and drops 3 elbows on Jamin. He locks in the abdominal stretch using the rope for leverage. Referee Chris Sharpe finally catches him and has him break the hold. Jamin jumps on Jay's back and locks in a sleeper, but Jay rams Jamin into the corner to break the hold. He delivers an uppercut to the back and locks Jamin in the legscissors. Jamin elbows Jay in the head to break loose. Jay slams him, but Jamin kicks him in the face. Jamin charges, but Jay catches him with a huge spinebuster for 2. Jay throws Jamin to the outside and slams him on the floor. Jay jumps off the apron with an elbow, but misses. Jamin crawls in as Jay gets on the apron. Jay hits him in the gut and tries to suplex him to the outside, but Jamin blocks it and rams Jay's head in the turnbuckle. He knees Jay in the head, and with Jay laying in between the ropes, Jamin drops a knee from the second rope across the back of Jay's head. He hits a swinging neckbreaker. He fires away with forearms to Jay, and a knee to his head. He goes up top and hits the reverse splash for 2. Jay claws Jamin's eyes. He goes for a backdrop, but Jamin falls across Jay for 2. Jay rams Jamin in the corner and puts him on the top rope. Jamin headbutts Jay to the mat and hits a missile dropkick for 2. Jamin hits the kamikaze splash in the corner. He goes for another, but Jay catches him with the Boomstick for 2. He puts something in the Boomstick as Jamin jumps up 3 different times for the Standing O. Each time, Jay rams Jamin, backflips him, and helicopter slams him. He hits Jamin with the loaded Boomstick, knocking him from the ring. Jay rolls him in for 2. Jamin hits a Standing O off the second rope, and exposes the weapon in Jay's Boomstick. He wraps it around his fist and clocks Jay.
Jamin hits Jay with the title belt after the match for good measure.

This night was also the last (for a while) for ring announcer and Fan Advocate, Terry Boddie.
He was presented with this sign before the show by one of the great fans of OVW, Nathan Karpinski. He had many of the fans in line, as well as some of the superstars, sign it, so it was actually filled with signatures when he received it.
