WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: TEASE FOR MONDAY'S INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH; USOS VERSUS PART OF 3MB; SHOW VERSUS DEL RIO; AND MORE

We are in Fort Wayne, Indiana and your announcers are Michael ‘Ready for a Highlight Reel of Wrestling’ Cole and The Miz.

Before our opening match, Alberto Del Rio addresses the people of Fort Wayne. Alberto says that he has a big smile on his face because he is going to show us something really funny. His opponent at Wrestlemania, Jack Swagger claims to be the only ‘real American’. He tells Jackie that there are a lot of people in Fort Wayne, Indiana and other places in this nation who are from a different country. In the end, we are all made in America.

Of course Jack Swagger’s comments are hurtful and demeaning, but to be honest, they are really funny some times. He wants to show us what he means.

We see the video that aired on last week’s Smackdown and re-aired on Raw.

Alberto says that was funny, but now he has to get down to business because he has a really big opponent. He faces . . .

Big Show makes his way to the ring for the match.

Match Number One: Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez) versus Big Show

They lock up and Show sends Del Rio to the mat. Show picks up Del Rio and gives him a head butt. Show with a chop across the chest and Del Rio goes to the floor. Show follows after Del Rio but Del Rio gets back into the ring and Del Rio kicks Show while Show is in the ropes. Del Rio with a lungblower to Show and Show goes to the floor.

Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter make their way to the ramp and we go to commercial.

We are back and Show chops Del Rio across the chest. Del Rio with punches but Show with a shoulder tackle. Showwith an elbow to the arm and Show with an arm bar as he continues to work on the elbow and shoulder. Show uses his weight to work on Del Rio’s arm and then he wraps it in the ropes and connects with an elbow. Show with a wrist lock and pressure on the elbow. Show with a knee and Irish whip but he runs into boots.

Show with a kick and then he sets for a power bomb but Del Rio with a rana followed by a seated splash for a near fall. Del Rio with kicks to Show and then he hits the super kick but Show with a powerful kick out at two. Del Rio tries for the float over into the cross arm breaker but Show picks up Del Rio.

Del Rio applies the cross arm breaker while hanging over the ropes and Show drops Del Rio on the apron and Del Rio rolls to the floor. Swagger clips Del Rio while the referee was dealing with Show and the referee did not see why Del Rio is down.

The referee makes his count and he gets to ten.

Winner: Big Show (by count out)

After the match, Del Rio struggles to get to his feet and he needs Ricardo to help him stay on his feet as he goes to the back.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater (with Jinder Mahal) versus Jimmy and Jey Uso

Heath and Jimmy start things off and they lock up. Jimmy works on the wrist but Slater with a reversal and arm drag and he does some air guitar. Jimmy with an uppercut to Slater and Jey tags in. They hit a double back elbow and double elbow drop and Jey gets a near fall. Jey with an arm bar. Jinder pulls the rope down and Jey goes over the top rope to the floor.

Drew tags in and he hot shots Jey on the apron. Drew sends Jey back into the ring and Drew follows. He stands between Jey and his corner and Drew with a running boot to the head and Drew gets a near fall. Slater tags in and Heath with a boot to the ribs. Slater with jabs to Jey. Jey misses a punch and Slater with another jab. Slater gets a near fall.

Slater with a reverse chin lock on Jey and he tries for a version of the Acid Drop but Jey counters with a belly-to-back suplex and Jimmy tags in. Drew tags in as well and Jimmy with clotheslines followed by a kick. Drew with a kick to Jimmy and a forearm to Jey on the apron. Jimmy with a Samoan drop to Drew followed by the running butt splash into the corner but Slater breaks up the cover.

Slater misses a baseball slide to Jey and Jey with a kick to the head. Drew with an Irish whip to Jimmy but Jimmy with a savate kick. Jey tags in and he hits the superfly splash and gets the three count.

Winners: Jimmy and Jey Uso

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Rock and John Cena video package.

Michael Cole mentions the challenge made by Triple H to Brock Lesnar. We see footage of Brock when he destroyed Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. Then Paul Heyman told Triple H that Brock would accept the match but only if Hunter accepted Brock’s stipulations.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are reminded that Mark Henry will be facing Ryback on Smackdown.

Match Number Three: Wade Barrett versus Justin Gabriel in a Non Title Match

Gabriel with a hammer lock but Barrett with an elbow and knee to Gabriel. Gabriel slides through the legs and Gabriel with a few kicks and leg sweeps and he gets a near fall. Gabriel with a clothesline from the turnbuckles followed by an Irish whip. Barrett sends Gabirel to the apron and Justin blocks a forearm and Gabriel with a forearm.

Barrett drops Gabriel on the top turnbuckle and then he punches and kicks Justin and gets a near fall. Barrett with a knee drop to Gabriel and then he puts Justin in the ropes and connects with a series of knees and then he hits a running boot that drops Gabriel onto the apron. Barrett gets a near fall. Barrett with a reverse chin lock.

Gabriel with punches to the midsection but Barrett stops Justin. Justin with a kick and punches to Barrett. Gabriel with a chop and kicks followed by a jumping back kick and a spinning heel kick. Gabriel misses a charge into the corner but he lands on the turnbuckles and then Gabriel with a back heel kick and Justin goes up top but Barrett recovers.

Barrett with a back heel kick and then he winds up for the Bull Hammer and Justin avoids it for a moment. Justin comes off the turnbuckles and right into the Bull Hammer for the three count.

Winner: Wade Barrett

After the match, Barrett goes to the announce table to show one of his opponents on Monday night that he is still the Intercontinental Champion.

We are back with a look at the Undertaker’s tribute to Paul Bearer and CM Punk’s comments. Then we see footage from the end of Raw when CM Punk left with the urn.
