COMPLETE PWS COVERAGE FROM RAHWAY, NJ: STAR MAN GETS HIS TITLE SHOT, VADER VS. RIKISHI, TOM PRICHARD, NESE, MAFF, REYNOLDS, HARRY SMITH AND MANY MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-10-12 22:20:51
Rikishi came to the ring for his match.  A member of Enhancement Talent came out and said this was his ring and no one came to see a fat Samoan wrestler.  He got wiped out and Rikishi killed him with a splash and prepared for the Stinkface.  The other member of Enhancement Talent hit the ring and they double teamed Rikishi.  Vader and Paul Bearer came to the ring.

Vader with Paul Bearer vs. Rikishi

Vader and Rikishi laid out Talent, then faced off for their match.  Vader took the mic and asked everyone what time is it.  Rikishi said it was Stinkface Time  Vader began mocking him for needing to be rescued earlier and said it's time for them to get it on.  They played to the crowd for a bit.

They locked up and muscled each other into the corner.  Enhancement Talent hit the ring but ended up getting laid out.  The referee ruled it was a tag match.

Vader wiped out one of the Talent with a Vader splash off the road.   Rikishi killed the other one and nailed a sitdown splash for the pin.

Your winners, Rikishi and Vader!

A pretty nothing match.  They gave one of them a Stinkface.   Vader said that for the first time in the history of wrestling, he's going to dance.  Wow.  I didn't need to see that.  He actually knew the dance steps, which was funny.

PWS Tri-State champion Tony Nese vs. Star Man

Huge reaction for Star Man.  They had some nice wrestling early.  Star backdropped Nese to the apron outside but Nese drilled him with a kick to the head.  Nese missed a moonsault.  They went back and forth with a series of reversals until Nese nailed a kick, sending Star to the outside and hit a big dive to the outside.

They returned to the ring and battled back and forth until Star Man froze in place.  Nese rebounds off the ropes but was clotheslined by Star.  Star hit a dive to the outside.

Star Man hit a double springboard moonsault for a two count.  Nese locked on a rear chinlock for a two count.  They went back and forth with near falls.  Nese hit a big standing suplex for a two count.   Star Man went for a double underhook suplex but was backdropped over.

Star Man nailed a series of clotheslines for a two count.  Nese whipped him into the ropes but was kicked in the face.  Star Man hit a spinning kick for a two count.   Star Man hit a standing moonsault for a two count.

Nese rolled up Star Man, who reversed it for a two count.  Nese lifted up Star Man and powerbombed him into the corner and then ran into him with a big knee.   Nese went for a kryptonite krunch but Star Man fought his way out and rolled him up for a two count.  Star Man went to the top.  Nese tried to fight him off but was sent to the mat with a slam.  He went to the top for a move.

Alex Reynolds hit the ring, gave Star Man the finger and dropped an elbow on Nese.  DQ.

Your winner by DQ and still PWS Tri-State champion, Tony Nese!

Reynolds said that if anyone is beating him for the belt it's him.  Fun match but that finish was just terrible.    I get that it sets up a three-way issue but to give the fans that as the end to a pretty fun match really blows.

Devon Moore vs. John Silver vs. Lance Anoai vs. Lucifer Darksyde vs. Rich Swann vs. The Dynamic Sensation

Lots of feeling out early on.  Swann tagged in and cleaned house.  He ate a superkick so hard he walked all the way up the aisle.  Silver locked a sleeper on Darksyde and Silver nailed a superkick.  Everyone battled to the floor, setting up a BIG dive from Lance that looked awesome.  Swann then hit an awesome twisting dive over the ropes onto everyone.

Back in the ring, Lucifer drilled Lance with a big clothesline.   He nailed a flip somersault for a two count.    Silver and Swann went back and forth with some stiff kicks and shots.  Swann drilled him with an insane DDT that flipped him hard.

They battled back and forth.  Darksyde killed someone with a moonsault but Devon Moore nailed him with the chair and scored the pin.

Your winner, Devon Moore!

Some nice dives and sequences here.

There was a huge multi-tag team bout with the Phat Pack winning the PWS Tag belts, which are apparently invisible.

Texas champion Dr. Tom Prichard vs. the Big O (with Becky Bayless)

Prichard locked up with O who overpowered him early.  O slammed Prichard and dropkicked him.  Prichard tried to send him into the buckles and then retreated to the floor.

When Prichard returned, he nailed O with a foreign object and hid it from the referee.  He covered O for a two count.   Prichard tried to work him over on the mat but O fought his way back.  O nailed a suplex for a two count.

Bayless grabbed the foreign object from Prichard and O nailed a running over the shoulder with a power slam.

Your winner and new Texas champion, The Big O!

O is very big but very green.  He's got some charisma though, a lot of it.   Very basic match but that was probably for the best.

PWS champion Kevin Matthews in an open challenge

Matthews said that last month, Belding was a special guest in the building to be Commissioner and disrespected Reality Check.  He said he gave Devon Moore a stunner heard around the world, so he challenges Belding to a match.

He said that leads him to the open challenge to anyone from PWS, WWE, TNA or the "chickensh** fed that drew no one last weekend" (ROH).  Out came some guy dressed as Superman, I guess because it's NYC Comic Con weekend.

Matthews asked him who the hell he was.  He said he was the Marvelous One.  Well, he got Marvelously wiped out and pinned in 10 seconds.

Out came Star Man from the front door.  He hit a flying bodypress on Matthews as he turned around for a two count.   Star Man locked on a crossface in the middle of the ring.

Matthews rolled out of it.  Star Man went for a tornado DDT but was stopped and nailed with a belly to belly overhead suplex into the corner for a two count.   The crowd chanted "Let's go Star Man."   Matthews nailed a twisting DDT for a two count.  Star Man kept kicking up.

Matthews continued working him over but Star Man caught him with a sliced bread #2 for a two count.  Out came Reality Check but Star Man hit a flip dive over the ropes to wipe them out. Matthews cut him iff as he returned to the ring and a powerbomb and an Awesomebomb for the pin.

Your winner and still PWS champion, Kevin Matthews!

Tony Nese hit the ring and the Big O hit the ring and made the save, brawling with Reality Check.

DDP's music hit and he came to the ring, wearing a Reality Check shirt.   He acted like he was with the group, then drilled everyone with Diamond Cutters.

He raised Star Man's hand and celebrated with the others.

That's all from PWS! We'll be back with notes tomorrow. Thanks for logging in with PWIsider.com tonight!
