FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TELEVISION REPORT: A CHAMPION IS STRIPPED, A NEW CHAMPION IS CROWNED, ASCENSION MAKES A STATEMENT

We begin this week’s show with footage of Bo Rotundo and his many spears that have led to him being a two-time FCW Champion.

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Matt ‘Wal’ Martlaro and William ‘Did you miss me Sunshine’ Regal.

FCW General Manager Maxine comes to the ring with Norman Smiley and Smiley holds the FCW Heavyweight Title belt. Maxine thanks everyone for coming tonight and she says that she has some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Bo Rotundo has been injured and she will be out for several months. The good news is that she has set up a Super Eight Elimination Tournament with the four winners of the first round matches will meet to determine the new FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion.

The eight participants are Seth Rollins, Leo Kruger, Big E Langston, Leakee, Percy Watson, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, and Husky Harris.

Maxine says that they will be wrestling over the next few weeks with the winners meeting to determine the new champion. Damien Sandow and Leakee will be in the first match.

Match Number One: Damien Sandow versus Leakee in a Super Eight Elimination Tournament First Round Match

Sandow throws his shirt at Leakee and attacks Leakee with punches and kicks. Sandow tries for a forearm but Leakee blocks it. Leakee with forearms to the chest and then he sends Sandow into the turnbuckles. Leakee with an Irish whip and back body drop followed by a front face lock and forearm to the back. Leakee with more forearms across the chest.

Leakee with a kick and Sandow tries for a neck breaker but Leakee counters with a back slide for a near fall. Sandow with a knee to the midsection but Leakee with one of his own and he gets a near fall. Leakee sets for a power slam and he hits it and gets a near fall. Sandow tries to go to the floor but Sandow grabs the ring skirt before being pulled back into the ring. The referee deals with the ring and Sandow with a thumb to the eyes.

Sandow with kicks to Leakee and he punches him. Sandow with head butts followed by a knee drop and the referee warns Sandow. Sandow with a body scissors and he connects with a series of forearms. Leakee with forearms to get out of the hold. Sandow with a shoulder to the midsection followed by knees as he sends Leakee off the ropes. Sandow with a leaping knee drop for a near fall.

Sandow avoids an elbow but he does not avoid a punch. Sandow with another knee to the midsection and then he kicks Leakee in the ribs and gets a near fall. Sandow gets another near fall and Sandow starts to show some frustration. Sandow with forearms to the back and elbows followed by a boot to the upper chest. Sandow tries for an abdominal stretch and Leakee tries to fight Sandow to avoid the hold but Sandow eventually locks in the hold. Sandow holds on to the ropes to get extra leverage and the referee sees it and Sandow waits until four to release the hold. Sandow tries for another abdominal stretch but Leakee with a hip toss.

Leakee and Sandow with punches while they are on their knees in the center of the ring and Leakee with the advantage. Leakee with a few clotheslines followed by knees to the midsection. Leakee misses a running knee lift but he does not miss a flying forearm. Leakee with a diving forearm and Sandow rolls to the apron. Leakee suplexes Sandow back into the ring and he goes to the apron again. Leakee with forearms to the back followed by a knee lift and Sandow falls into the ring.

Leakee misses a splash into the corner and Sandow with the M14 swinging neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Damien Sandow (advances to the finals)

Briley Pierce is with Abraham Washington and Abe will return to the ring soon. He says that he hopes Bo gets well soon and he says that Bo will return because he is a true fighter and a true champion. Abe says that Bo is the James Brown of sports entertainment. Briley gets James Brown and James Bond mixed up and Abe says that Bo is the hardest working man in sports entertainment. Abe says that he wants to give his congratulations and condolences to the new champion because he is back and he make that person the shortest reigning champion. He says that nobody can do what he does. Abe says that he is putting his name in the FCW Title chase and he is going to put it ‘In Yo Face’.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Caylee Turner joins William and Matt at the announce table. We see highlights of what Aksana did to Audrey Marie the last time they wrestled.

Match Number Two: Audrey Marie versus Aksana for the FCW Divas Title

Aksana with a kick and then she tries to send Audrey into the turnbuckles but Audrey blocks it. Audrey with a kick and clothesline followed by a hip toss and slam for a near fall. Audrey with a forearm but Aksana sends Audrey to the apron. Audrey with a shoulder but Aksana sends Audrey to the floor when Audrey tries to get back into the ring.

Aksana sends Audrey into the ring apron and she punches Audrey and then she slams Audrey’s throat into the apron. Aksana gets a near fall. Aksana with a reverse chin lock before getting a near fall. Aksana with a reverse chin lock. Audrey with forearms but Aksana sends Audrey to the mat and gets another near fall.

Aksana with a rear chin lock and her knee in Audrey’s back. Aksana with a series of kicks and she gets another near fall. Aksana chokes Audrey in the ropes and then she hits a double sledge to the back. Aksana with a reverse chin lock. Aksana with elbow drops and she gets a near fall. Aksana with a suplex. Audrey with a rollup for a near fall. Aksana kicks Audrey and then kicks her in the midsection for a near fall. Audrey misses a clothesline and then Aksana tries for the spinebuster but Audrey counters with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Audrey Marie

We have a video package for the Ascension with Conor O’Brian, Tito Colon, Kenneth Cameron, and Raquel Diaz.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Briley Pierce is in the back with Aksana and she asks her how she feels after just losing the FCW Divas Title. Briley decides to do the interview later. Husky Harris tells Aksana that she got everything that she deserved and he starts to walk away. Aksana says that she is sorry for everything. Husky tells Aksana to stop and relax and Husky hugs Aksana and apologizes for upsetting her. We see an evil look on Aksana’s face while they embrace.

Match Number Three: Corey Graves versus Erick Rowan

Graves with a kick to the back of the leg when he avoids a lock up with Rowan. Graves with another kick to the leg and then he goes to the turnbuckles and he leaps over Rowan. Graves with another kick and then he forces Rowan to charge at him and Rowan goes over Graves and to the floor. Graves with a baseball slide to Rowan that staggers him but when he goes for a second one, Rowan grabs Graves and pulls Corey into the guardrails.

Rowan runs Graves’ back into the apron and then back into the ring. Graves with a punch but Rowan with a bear hug and then he runs Graves into the corner. Rowan with a double sledge to the back. Rowan gets sent into the turnbuckles and Graves with kicks to the chest but Rowan throws Graves to the mat. Graves with a drop kick to the knees and Rowan goes down to his knees. Graves goes up top and Rowan catches Graves by the throat and he hits a choke slam for the three count.

Winner: Erick Rowan

Match Number Four: Big E Langston versus Husky Harris in a Super Eight Elimination Tournament First Round Match

They have some words for each other before the match starts and Husky points to the Wrestlemania . . . I mean the banner of his brother on the wall. They lock up to a stalemate. They lock up again and Husky sends Langston into the turnbuckles. They lock up again and Langston backs Harris into the corner and Langston with an elbow followed by a side head lock. Langston with kicks and side head locks as he tries to wear Husky down. Harris misses a clothesline and then Harris with a running shoulder tackle and neither man goes down.

Harris and Langston exchange punches and then Langston kicks Harris and Harris goes down. Langston with forearms to Harris but when he tries for a charge into the corner, Harris is able to emerge and he hits a shoulder tackle and both men are down as we go to commercial.

We are back and Harris punches Langston but Langston takes Harris down and then sends him into the corner. Langston with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Langston tries for a few more covers and can only get a near fall each time. Langston with a rear chin lock with his knee in Husky’s back. Harris with punches but Langston with a back elbow for a near fall. Langston gets more near falls.

Langston with a forearm but Harris with punches. Langston with a forearm across the chest and he sends Harris into the turnbuckles followed by shoulders. Langston with a forearm to the back and a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Langston with more near falls on Harris and Langston returns to the rear chin lock with his knee in the back. Harris gets back to his feet and he punches Langston. Langston with a knee and he gets a near fall.

Langston with a kick to the midsection followed by a forearm to the back. Langston with forearms across the chest followed by shoulders in the corner. Langston with a punch to Harris and Langston with a slam for a near fall. Harris with punches to Langston but Langston with a knee to the midsection. Harris with a flying forearm followed by palm thrusts and a splash into the corner. Harris with a splash into the corner and then he hits a running splash into the corner.

Harris with a reverse atomic drop followed by a spear to the upper thigh for the three count.

Winner: Husky Harris (advances to finals with Damien Sandow)
