MATT HARDY GOING FOR THE GOLD, KANE, WWE HAPPY ABOUT SETH GREEN AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2009-07-14 12:02:51

In his blog on MySpace yesterday, Matt Hardy wrote: "That I start getting back to being me, Matt Hardy. Whether you love me or you hate me, you can't deny my passion and drive. Tomorrow I start my slow, yet gradual climb back to the top of the mountain. I refuse to lose. I hope each and every one of you are in my corner.. and if not, then so be it. It's time for Matt Hardy to be what I'm destined to be.. The World Heavyweight Champ. And I will! I'm free to get my total game where it needs to be.. Thank for sticking with me through thick and thin, good and bad-it will pay off in the long run! I truly love my real people.."  I wish him all the best in reaching his goal.  New blood at the top of the cards is needed right now in WWE, but more so on Monday night.

Matthew McAusland sent word that Kane's "See No Evil" will be released on Blu-Ray on August 11.  You can pre-order it at our PWInsider.com Superstore at this link: http://astore.amazon.com/pwincom-20.

From the wayback machine, Jerry Lawler and Koko B. Ware will step back in time on July 24 when they will wrestle in Tennessee at the Union City High School Gym in a fundraiser for local causes.

WWE sent out the following Media Alert today.

SETH GREEN STEPS INTO THE RING ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW®

-- First RAW Celebrity Host Settles Score with WWE Champ Randy Orton --

What: Last night, Seth Green was the first celebrity guest host of Monday Night RAW on USA Network, following the decree of Donald Trump, RAW’s “former owner,” to have special guest hosts each week. The actor/ writer and with Matthew Senreich, executive producer and co-creator of the Emmy-winning Robot Chicken, on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim took control of the sold out Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida to arrange matches and dictate stipulations.

Green began the show by welcoming fans to Seth Green’s Monday Night RAW and promised that he would put together a great show for them. After addressing the fans, the comedic star of both film and television was rudely interrupted by WWE Champion Randy Orton. Green did the unthinkable – he challenged Orton to a match. Along with his tag team partners Triple H and John Cena, Green defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton and his tag team partners Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in the main event of the evening.

Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top will host next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW on USA Network at 9 PM ET.
