Are WWE House Show rings smaller than the ones they use for TV tapings?
Nope, WWE uses the same size ring for televised events as they do for house shows. However, most independent companies (and back in the day, WCW) used a smaller ring than WWE uses.
With the upcoming Hardcore Reunion Convention I have been checking out some of the ECW guys myspace profiles, who will be there. I noticed Danny Doring is engaged. I couldn't help but laugh and think back to his "proposal" to Lita, then Miss Congeniality, with a condom. My question is do you think he actually went with a real diamond for a real proposal? Eternally missing ECW.
Wow, you really miss ECW a lot, since most ECW fanatics would probably rather not remember that "Extreme Moment." To answer your question, I'm pretty sure he went a more traditional route for his actual engagement.
Do you guys fear that this website will become another victim of this country's economic woes?
No. We have decided to hold off on purchasing that private jet, and I'm no longer showering with Evian, but other than that, I think we'll be fine.
In the Feb 8th, "This Day in History", in talking about the Raw that was taped at the Skydome in 1999, it said: "The WWF taped RAW is WAR at SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario..... .....41,432 fans attended the event, the company's largest non-WrestleMania attendance in history." Is this correct? Didn¹t "The Big Event" at the CNE in Toronto back in 1986 (Hogan vs. Orndorff) draw 64,000 (even though the WWF claimed 74,000 at the time)? Just curious.
Yes. That item should have read the "largest Raw attendance" in history and was later corrected. WWE also had Summerslam and Shea Stadium events that drew more than 40,000.
What's the latest on former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro?
For some reason, there are rumors floating around (probably started by her own camp) about her contacting WWE about a return. That said, I have heard nothing of WWE bringing her back.
