Steven Fernandes reporting. ... Seth Mates has a blog entry on newsday.com talking about the Stephanie McMahon/Eric Bischoff kiss on the Smackdown Halloween show back in 2002. The original idea was for someone in a Triple H mask to be at the party and Stephanie would track him down as he was leaving and he would kiss her, and reveal himself to be Bischoff in an "I infiltrated your show again" moment. But that changed well before the taping began. Then it was supposed to be someone in a Triple H mask lurking at the party and Stephanie would go find out who it was, but John Cena would interrupt her and tell her that Vince was waiting for her in her office. Then Bischoff would reveal himself and they would have words. Mates doesn't remember what the finish was supposed to be but there wasn't supposed to be a kiss. He thinks that must have been okayed at the last second. When creative threw around ideas to follow up on that, they were told to just forget it ever happened.
Brandon Branham sent word that the latest "Santino's Casa" video is online on the main page at wwe.com. In it, Santino claims that Snoop Dogg caused the lights to go out at Wrestlemania during the Bunnymania match just so he could sneak up on Santino and knock him out. As always, it's great stuff.
