BRIAN ADAMS' CAUSE OF DEATH ANNOUNCED

By Mike Johnson on 2007-09-28 18:30:51

The Ocala Star Banner in Florida reported that a mixture of prescription drugs killed former WWF and WCW star Brian "Crush" Adams.

Dr. Leszek Chrostowski from the Hillsborough County medical examiner's office told the newspaper that he discovered "therapeutic levels" of  buprenorphine, an opiate-based painkiller that is used in the treatment of painkiller addiction, carisoprodol (muscle relaxer) and sedatives chlordiazepoxide and alprazolam.

Chrostowski believed that while the drugs alone wouldn't have harmed Adams, the mixture of narcotics slowed his respiratory system enough to kill him.

The disclosure of Adams' autopsy toxicology has been picked up by numerous outlets in his home State of Florida and may be picked up by the national wires as well.
