I had the chance to watch several of the WWE 24/7 "Legends" roundtables in the last few days and if you subscribe to the service, they are worth the price of the entire Video on Demand channel in my opinion. The "Heatseekers" episode features Jim Ross compares Dr. Heiny to the Oklahoma character in WCW, Michael Hayes and Eric Bischoff discussing the hurtful Arn Anderson NWO retirement spoof and Jerry Lawler talking about Paul Heyman believed to leak things to the Internet is an off the charts discussion that is so good, I couldn't believe it was produced by WWE as they even discuss Vince McMahon without being political. Well worth the effort to order and view.
Brian sent the following regarding the WWE stock closing at a huge low last night....While the WWE stock has taken a Big hit yesterday a lot of stock has. The market has been taking a major hit lately. I personally have lost almost 10% of my stock portfolio in the last week from the market taking such a beating. So, while it may look bleak and people might try to blame the recent problems the WWE are going thru while maybe a little might be true not all of the blame should be placed there. There is one stock that I hold that trades with HD (Home Depot) that when I purchased it they were at almost 42 a share yesterday they closed at 33.46 which is a huge drop, so I just wanted to say I wouldn't worry that much about the WWE drop.
For you video game fanatics, Paul Jordan sent word that WWE's Raw vs. Smackdown 2007 video game will feature Elijah Burke, Carlito, CM Punk, Tommy Dreamer, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Ken Kennedy, Jeff Hardy, Sandman, Undertaker, Bobby Lashley, Kane, Triple H, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Masters and Randy Orton as well as all three commentary teams and more to be announced.
Ian sent the following....Joanie "Chyna Doll" Laurer has checked herself into the Pasadena Recovery Center after suffering a relapse several weeks ago. Many news websites have reported Joanie has inked a deal with VH1 to turn her stay in rehab into a reality TV series, which has now been confirmed by her managers. "Joanie was already set to got to rehab when VH1 approached her about doing a TV deal". Anthony Anzaldo (Laurer's manager) said. "VH1 agreed to pay for Joanie's rehab if she allowed them to film certain aspects of her recovery. This is not an attempt to revive her career in anyway, this is an attempt by Joanie to get her life back together and when VH1 offered to pay for her entire rehab Joanie could not turn down the offer." Joanie recently appeared at the "Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav" very clean and sober, but her managers reported it was just a brief night out and Joanie still has several weeks to complete her recovery. Joanie will be appearing on "Nancy Grace" August 27 at 8 & 10pm on CNN to discuss drugs in professional wrestling and her own related issues.
