FULL JUDGMENT DAY REPORT

By Buck Woodward on 2004-05-17 02:40:00

The events leading to John Cena vs. Rene Dupree were shown.

United States Champion John Cena vs. Rene Dupree.

Cena, who came out first, did a pre-match rap ripping on Dupree and boasting of what he was going to do to him. Dupree's music came on, ending Cena's rap early. Michael Cole brought up Dupree's Iraqi prisoner remark from Smackdown as Dupree came to the ring, saying it was "disgusting".  They locked up, and Cena hit some right hands.  Dupree got Cena to chase him around the ring, but it backfired, as Cena hit a clothesline back in the ring and pounded Dupree.  Dupree booted a charging Cena, but Cena came right back with knees to the midsection and hit a clothesline.  Dupree started to go over the top rope, but didn't have enough momentum, and slid under the ropes instead.  Cena followed Dupree and headbutted him, but Dupree shortarmed Cena into the ringpost. Dupree took over on Cena, working him over in a corner.  Cena reversed a whip and sent Dupree into the corner.  Dupree flipped over the ropes and to the apron.  Cena charged, and Dupree dropped down and pulled down the top rope, so Cena would fly over the top and crash on the floor.  Dupree rammed Cena headfirst into the apron before bringing him back into the ring. Dupree worked over Cena's back and applied a side bearhug.

At the five minute mark, Cena punched and headbutted his way out, but Dupree shoulderblocked him in the corner and reapplied the hold. Cena broke out with a jawbreaker, and hit a series of rights.  Cena hit a lariat and a back elbow, then a flying shoulderblock.  Cena hit a side slam, but missed the Five Knuckle Shuffle fistdrop.  Dupree hit a spinebuster, then did the French Tickler dance.  Dupree then missed a fistdrop, and Cena went to the middle rope, but Dupree kicked him as he jumped off.  Dupree hit a DDT, and waited for Cena to get up. Cena ducked a shot and went for a FU, but Dupree floated out and hit a neckbreaker for a two count.  Dupree was bleeding from the mouth.  Dupree went for a powerbomb, but Cena backdropped him. Dupree went to turn it into a sunset flip, but Cena dropped down for a two count. Cena then grabbed a backslide for another two count.  Cena whipped Dupree across the ring.  Cena charged, and Dupree went for a leapfrog, but Cena caught him and delivered the FU for the pin at the ten minute mark.

Winner: John Cena.

Cena went into the crowd to celebrate after his win.
