Jill Jarrett, wife of TNA's Jeff Jarrett, has passed away following a long battle with cancer.
As we've reported previously, Jarrett had been dealing with a family issue in recent months, and that issue was his wife's battle with the disease. In fact, Jarrett had tailored his work schedule in order to be able to return home immediately after taping segments for Impact or appearing on PPV events in order to be with his family.
PWInsider.com learned of her passing this morning, however several people close to Jarrett asked that the information not be posted immediately, so that family and friends did not learn of her passing via the Internet. However, the story has now been made public in several different forums, and we've received numerous emails asking about the validity of the story.
Everyone at PWInsider.com would like to express our deepest condolences to the Jarrett family, and ask that fans respect the privacy of the family during this time.
