The first match on the PPV featured Ric Flair vs. Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin made his way to the ring first. They showed clips of Benjamin's two victories over Triple H. Benjamin opened up early taking down Flair with amateur style takedowns. Flair began chopping and punching Benjamin in the corner. Benjamin showed off his agility with several leapfrogs and a dropkick, then clotheslined Flair to the floor. Benjamin backdropped Flair on the floor. Back in the ring, Flair thumbed him in the eye and chopped him down. Flair went to the top rope and shock of shocks, got caught and slammed into the ring. They tossed up a graphic that said, "SAP Difficulties" so I guess the Spanish feed is messed up. Benjamin almost scored a pin with a roll up. Flair began working over Benjamin's knee. Flair locked in the figure four leglock in the center of the ring. Benjamin turned it over but Flair reversed it back and grabbed the ropes. The referee forced a break. Benjamin began limping on his leg. Flair went outside and grabbed a steel chair, but the referee took it away. The crowd booed the referee. Benjamin unleashed a series of rights on Flair but Flair went after the knee. Benjamin hit an enziguiri. Flair took over on Benjamin's knee again but Benjamin fought back with lefts and rights. Flair was whipped into the corner and flipped over and fell to the floor. Flair went to pull brass knucks but got clobbered by Benjamin. Benjamin scored the pin. Your winner, Shelton Benjamin!
