FORMER WWE DEVELOPMENTAL TALENT DANNY 'INFERNO' GIMONDO ARRESTED

Former WWE developmental talent Danny "Inferno" Gimondo was arrested on 6/29 at 3:15 PM EST in Hernando County, Florida (Tampa area) and has been charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.   Scott Daring sent along that the arrest made the local Hernando Times newspaper website this week 

Gimondo, who was with WWE's then-developmental talent Ohio Valley Wrestling from 2004 through 2006 as part of the Jersey Shore Crew.  He continued wrestling through 2020 after his WWE release, mostly in the Northeast independent scene.  A torn ACL in OVW changed the course of his career.

Prior to his time in WWE developmental, he worked regularly as the Inferno Kid, including WWF enhancement matches, first debuting back in 1994.

Court records indicate Gimondo remains incarcerated in Hernando County with bond set at $10,000.
