WWE shifted Mustafa Ali into Rey Mysterio's slot in the Smackdown World Cup tournament due to an foot injury suffered by Mysterio.  Rey was backstage at Smackdown this past Friday.  There is no word when he will be cleared to return to the ring.

As of this morning, <Mustafa Ali has not been officially moved to the Smackdown brand.  It may be he is only in for the tournament.

Kevin Owens suffered some sort of knee injury last night at the WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin wrestling Austin Theory.  Owens tweaked it during the match and after winning via a stunner, needed to be walked back to the locker room with the assistance of several officials.  PWInsider.com is working to confirm the nature of the injury.

There were quite a few people praising Drew McIntyre for his commitment to the company as he went from The United States to Germany and Switzerland for Smackdown shows, then onto Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, then India to film what was described as a "movie role" the company set up with Sony, then flew right back to the United States to work the Smackdown taping, then a pair of live events, so he was on the road for several weeks straight for WWE-related appearances.
