Former WWE developmental talent Kyle Rasmussen, who was with FCW in 2009 and 2010, has been arrested and indicted in Michigan, charged with one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, or by strangulation.
According to The Oakland Press, Rasmussen, 41, was in the backseat of a vehicle being driven by another vehicle and for reasons unknown, tried to take over the wheel and began strangling the driver. The driver and Rasmussen's girlfriend, Sarah Ratlif, each fled the vehicle and tragically, his girlfriend was struck by another car and later passed away. Authorities are still seeking the driver of the vehicle that struck Ratlif.
Rasmussen's bond was set at $25,000. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for 11/10.
Rasmussen wrestled nearly 30 matches for then-WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in 2010 as Conrad Tanner, including bouts against Big E, Wade Barrett and more. He was released in November 2010 and did not pursue professional wrestling after exiting the WWE developmental system.
Rasmussen was arrested on 10/29. He bonded out on 11/1 and is not currently incarcerated.
