UNDERTAKER AT SUMMERSLAM, IS NICK GAGE REALLY COMING FOR RIC FLAIR, FTW TITLE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-07-30 10:06:00

Odds of an Undertaker appearance at Summerslam?

Well, he's in Nashville, so anything can happen but it's not something that has made the rounds.

I know Nick Gages reputation but is that whole Flair promo last night a shoot?

Yes, Nick Gage drove all the way to Nashville to wait for the moment to tell Conrad Thompson publicly that in 48 hours, he's going to show up and do something illegal.  That is obviously 100% a shoot.

From the very beginning, AEW has flat out refused to acknowledge the FTW belt from Taz and company, and yet they continue to promote it with match after match on both Dynamite and Rampage, even moreso than some of their actual belts. Now that Hook has nabbed the "coveted" belt, do you think AEW will finally acknowledge it, since Hook is one of their hottest non-injured talents right now? I mean, do they really need yet ANOTHER belt?

Well, AEW does acknowledge the belt since they have it on their TV.  It's always been utilized.  It's just not considered an "official" title, which is sort of the way the belt was originally presented in ECW decades ago, as something Taz created.

With all the names announced for Starrcast from JCP, where's Bob Caudle?

Unfortunately, at his age, Bob really isn't available and able to travel far distances anymore.  He's the best and I am sure he'll be represented in some way this weekend, but he won't be there in person.

Now that Tony Khan has relaunched ROH and Vince McMahon is out of a WWE creative and decisional role, is there any chances to see Gabe sapolsky another time in a big level? Would you like to see him? Leading ROH or in some WWE role? Thank you.

I think certainly the door has to be open for him to return to work with Triple H if the two sides wanted.  I don't see him working for AEW or ROH as Tony Khan has made it clear publicly that the creative of those companies are going to start and end with him and him alone, but that doesn't mean it can't change.  I think if Gabe had something to bring to the table and wanted to work in pro wrestling again, he certainly should have the chance.
