WildKat Sports X-Rated VI Results

For the 1st time from Southport Hall in New Orleans, WildKat Wrestling presented the sixth edition of "X-Rated" infront of a raucous sold out crowd! The 21 & Over only event was the first live event for the promotion since the devastation of Hurricane Ida in New Orleans last Summer.

Match Results:

-Shane Taylor defeated Jett Danger

-Shane Taylor defeated "Outlaw" Matt Lancie after an unintentional assist from Lancie's House Of Harper stablemate Edge Stone

-"Thrillbilly" Silas Mason defeated AJ Cazana

-FLY DEF (Warren Johnson & Zack Mason) defeated Slime SZN (J. Spade & Buku Dao)

-(TITLE CHANGE) Chuck Devine defeated Edge Stone in a Fatal 4 Way with Jace Valor and Danny Flamingo to become the NEW WildKat Revolution Champion

-(TITLE CHANGE) Brady Pierce & Damien Wayne defeated Hawx Aerie (Luke & PJ Hawx) to become the NEW WildKat Tag Team Champions

-(TITLE CHANGE) Trevor Murdoch defeated Ryan Davidson to become the NEW WildKat Sports Heavyweight Champio

M.C. Trey Sarver kicked off the show before being interrupted by Jett Danger, who had not yet left the ring after coming up short in a tag team dark match moments earlier. Danger was incensed over the loss and demanded more competion, challenging anyone in the back to an impromptu match. Who should answer but "Notorious" Shane Taylor! Taylor absolutely dwarfed Danger, outweighed him by over 200 lbs! Jett put up a valiant effort to fight back, but Taylor ultimately decimated Danger, turning Jett inside out with a clothesline before hitting the "Welcome To the Land" Driver for the win.

Afterwords, the head of Shane Taylor Promotions wasted little time calling out "The Outlaw" Matt Lancie, who arrived accompanied by his manager "Hardbody" Chris Harper. The two former WildKat Sports Champions exchanged brutal slugs from the get go. After going for a clothesline that Taylor avoided, Lancie accidentally collided with the referee, knocking him out to the outside. Lancie then hit a huge spinebuster for the win, but there was no referee to make the call. During the chaos, Lancie's House Of Harper stable-mate Edge Stone entered the ring to seemingly assist the Outlaw, but as Stone went for a huge boot to Shane Taylor in the corner, Taylor narrowly moved out of the way, causing Stone to wipe out Lancie instead! Taylor dispatched a dispondent Stone who couldn't believe the mistake he'd just made, then hit Welcome to the Land and a spinning reverse STO to earn a pinfall. While Shane Taylor celebrated his huge victory, the House of Harper argued in the ring. While Stone and Lancie argued to the back, Taylor focused his attention on Hardbody Harper, who was returning to the commentary table. Taylor threw Harper back in the ring, and as Hardbody pleaded on his knees Shane Taylor hit a huge knee lift right to Harper's face!

The next match saw two newcomers to WildKat Sports in AJ Cazana and Thrillybilly Silas Mason. Both have been featured of late with the NWA, and this was each competitors WildKat Sports debut. The outlandish southern attitude of Silas Mason went over huge with the capacity crowd in attendance. This was not appreciated by Cazana, who focused not only on keeping Mason down, but taking out all of the wind from the audience's proverbial sails. This preoccupation ended up costing Cazana, taking his focus off Silas which allowed the Thrillbilly to rally back and ink out the pinfall victory for an impressive debut.

Next out came the NWA Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch. He promised the crowd that his main event against WildKat Champion Ryan Davidson would be ugly and brutal, but if Davidson was able to get the win, Murdoch would grant Ryan a future opportunity at the NWA Heavyweight Championship.

The Team of J Spade and BuKu Dao made their arrive next in full Slime SZN ridiculousness: coming out in large wigs and comical sweaters, much to the delight of the WildKat fans, who ate up all of the signature antics that Slime SZN is known for. These two were arguably having too much fun right from the start, which contrasted the very serious Fly Def's Warren Johnson and Zack Mason, who were returning to WildKat with something to prove in this tag team match. Fly Def put a stopper in the fun-loving antics of Slime SZN, isolating BuKu and systematically working the arm. The Sitsu-asian stayed in the fight, showing why he has the biggest heart at WildKat, and once Spade came back into the match, things quickly broke down. Slime SZN attempted their "Season Finale" finisher, but Johnson would send Spade to the outside midway through, leaving Buku Dao all alone once more and allowing FLY DEF to double team Buku and score the win.

The Revolution Champion Edge Stone was back out to the ring, this time defend his Revolution Championship in a Fatal 4-Way against Chuck Devine, Danny Flamingo, and Jace Valor. Despite the issues earlier in the evening, Stone was accompanied to the ring by Hardbody Harper. The three challengers worked together early on to try and take out Stone, but things quickly disintegrated. Chuck Devine continously attempted to dump people to the outside and pick the scraps as Jace Valor and Danny Flamingo implored their high impact offense of and Stone used his size and power. While Flamingo and Devine were outside the ring, Valor hit his Killshot finish off the top rope onto the champion, taking Stone off his feet for the first time in the match! Before Valor could capitalize, Devine swooped in from the outside and hit a low blow onto Valor from behind! With Valor now incapacitated and Flamingo down on the outside, Devine covered a still out Edge Stone to get the win and become the NEW WildKat Sports Revolution Champion!

After the match, Stone again argued with Hardbody Harper, leading to Matt Lancie coming to the ring from the back. the House Of Harper again minced words before Stone shoved Harper down! As Lancie went to Harper's defense, Stone grabbed the Outlaw from behind and laid out Lancie! As the unhinged former Revolution Champion Edgrin Stone headed to the back, Lancie would come to and warn Stone that he'd just made a huge mistake. What does this mean for the House Of Harper?

Luke and PJ Hawx, Hawx Aerie, defended the WildKat Sports Tag Team Championship next against Brady Pierce and Damien Wayne. The well-oiled machine that is the father-son Tag Team Champions dominated early before Pierce and Wayne would isolate PJ in their corner. Both Pierce and Wayne methodically worked over the Prodigy, taunting and provoking Luke the entire time. The tenacious PJ refused to quit, fighting to tag in the Southern Stomper, who cleared house. With the victory in hand, Luke tagged back in PJ, and both ascended to the top rope for some aerial tandem offense to finish off Brady Pierce. Luke went for a huge 450 splash but Pierce avoided it! PJ then went for a crossbody, but Brady reversed it and maneuvered PJ into a cover for the win! New Tag Team Champions in Brady Pierce and Damien Wayne! The crowd was shocked, and both PJ and Luke were heartbroken to lose the championships they'd held for over 900 days. PJ gestured an apology to Luke, feeling he'd let them down, but the two shook hands and embraced after. A truly tough loss for the father-son team and a monumental win for the New champions Brady Pierce and Damien Wayne.

The main event saw Trevor Murdoch challenge Ryan Davidson for the Wildkat Sports Heavyweight Championship. This was a hoss fight, with the two going to blows early. One shot from Davidson caught Murdoch in the left eye, cutting him open, giving us some blood for the first time that evening. This seemed to only fire up the NWA Champion, as the two then spilt to the outside. Both men brawled throughout the building, suplexing one another on the floor and even onto the bar! Once they made their way back to the ring, Davidson would manage to hit his Davidson Driver, but only got a two! The big man Davidson then went to the top rope and went for his Spiral Splash (a maneuver he used to win the WildKat title) but Murdoch avoided it! Then Murdoch went to the top rope to hit his flying Bulldog (a maneuver he used to win the NWA title) and it connected! 1, 2, 3, we have a new champion! The NWA Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch was now also the WildKat Sports Heavyweight Champion!

The entire WildKat lockerroom came to the ring at the behest of Luke Hawx. They expressed their respect to both the former champion Ryan Davidson and the new champion Trevor Murdoch, welcoming him into the fold.

Luke thanked the fans for their support in an truly emotional and heartfelt speech over the hardships Hawx had endured to make WildKat Sports happen. Hawx bore his heart, and it truly  brought a tear my eye, and many in the sold out standing room only crowd to end the show.

Three new Champions were crowned:

NWA Champion Trevor Murdoch is now the new WildKat Sports Heavyweight Champion, Chuck Devine the new Revolution Champion, and Damien Wayne & Brady Pierce the new Tag Team Champions! That, along with the seeming implosion of the House Of Harper, and this may be one of the most eventful shows in WildKat history! A historic WildKat X-Rated that made one this definitely clear: WildKat Sports is back.
