Deadline.com broke news this afternoon that actor Zac Efron will be starring in a new feature film The Iron Claw.
The film will be "Based on the true story of the Von Erichs, the film follows the rise and fall of the Von Erich family, a dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day."
There is no word which of the Von Erichs Efron will be portraying.
A24 is set to finance and produce the pic with Sean Durkin writing and directing.
PWInsider.com is told that Kevin Von Erich and his family have no current involvement in the film in any way, shape or form.
