RUBY SOHO DISCUSSES THE CONFIDENCE BOOST AEW HAS GIVEN HER, THE VIBE BEHIND THE SCENE, DOUBLE OR NOTHING, THE OWEN HART FOUNDATION TOURNAMENT, CARPOOL KARAOKE - THE SERIES AND MORE

Filming Carpool Karaoke - The Series: "I mean, I had a great time. Max [MJF] tried to make it so that I didn't have a great time but I had a great time. It was so interesting. The crew and everybody were so nice and so sweet. And to be able to you know, I love singing in the car anyway, so you know, being able to do it and be filmed for it is so cool. And I was a fan of the show, you know, prior to being asked to be involved in it so I felt very fortunate to be able to be a part of it. It is wild to see a trailer with Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg in it and also be in the same trailer. So that was bizarre for me to see.  That was one of my, "What is my life?" kind of moments. So it was a huge honor for me to be a part of this, and it was a lot of fun. My car was a very interesting thing to be a part of, I don't think it's 3 people that you would ever put together before - myself, MJF and Will Hobbs and you know, Max tries to make it intolerable as he does with everything he's involved in. But it was a lot of fun for sure."

Her first reaction to learning she was being paired with MJF and Powerhouse Hobbs on the series: "I mean, at first, I was pretty shocked that that was the group, but then, you know, as time went on, I started to think about like the three of us to have insanely different music tastes, you know, from all sides of the spectrum, so I felt like it was a very diverse car when it came to that so I think in that sense, you know, it makes sense for me to see a very unusual pairing of some people who have very different music tastes, and to be surprised at who knew what songs you know, the who was like, guilty pleasure was somebody's you know, favorite genre of music. So it was very interesting to be a part of that, but it was, it was a blast."

The singing voice she was most surprised by: "I'm not gonna lie to you. I hate complimenting him cause he's just the worst, but Max has a pretty great singing voice. And he's pretty good when it comes to you know, Dean Martin. I'm not gonna lie to you. But you know, again, he's still the worst. So even if that could be a redeemable quality, he opens his mouth any other time when he's not singing and it ruins it for him."The music and songs she uses to keep herself going on the road: "So I'm all over the place when I'm in my car. I'm all like, obviously, you know, it's not a secret I would say that you know, Rancid is a huge one. I can put on the entire album of And Out Come The Wolves and be a happy girl. But honestly, I'm all over the place when it comes to theater. So I opened some tunes from some musicals I've been, and I've been really hooked. I've always been this way since I was a kid. But like, as of lately, like I think that it all just comes back. I love The Temptations. So I've been belting Ain't Too Proud To Beg for a couple weeks a lot and so yeah, a lot of like, you know, lately I've been really into like, old school like Motown stuff. So, yeah, I'm just I'm all over the place here in the car with me, so you're probably really confused."

AEW tapping her to appear on the series: "It makes me feel so valued like I can't, honestly, it's a great question because I honestly can't explain to you what that means to me because I love doing those things. I love doing these interviews. I love you know, I love doing karaoke, I love doing stuff outside like charity stuff. I love doing anything you know, involving the community or anything outside of wrestling that  represents AEW, I adore doing that kind of stuff. So for AEW to choose me and to allow me to be a part of this, to be able to be a face of you know, this amazing company that I love so much, it really truly does mean the world, it really does. I thought about that a lot as a result of, you know, them putting me up even like, I still get excited when I see the intro or commercials for Dynamite or Rampage and you know, I'm on it for a flash. You know what I mean? I'm there like, it's still surreal to me to see that. But it's so humbling. It makes me feel so valued and so appreciated, like I am, you know, a part of the team. I'm a valued part of the team. And I think at the end of the day, you know, in any industry, in any job, that's something that you want to feel."
