BRYAN DANIELSON UPDATE, BACKSTAGE VISITORS AT DYNAMITE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-05-19 10:39:00

For those who have asked about Bryan Danielson after a moment at the conclusion of the Rampage taping last night where it appeared his leg was stuck between the ring ramp and the ring during a brawl for a lengthy period of time, we were told that after he was freed, he was "OK" backstage, but there's no word whether that incident was a planned part of the show or not.

WWE Hall of Famer Stevie Ray and NFL great and 80s action star Brian "The Boz" Bosworth were visiting at last night's Dynamite taping in Houston, Texas.

For those who have asked about the AEWonTNT Twitter account inadvertently tweeting out Johnny Gargano had debuted last night, as opposed to John Hennigan, that account is not run by AEW themselves but their broadcast partner, so the error was not on AEW itself.

Speaking of Hennigan, who debuted last night as Johnny Elite, we are told he is not signed to the promotion as of this writing but the door is open for additional appearances down the line after he wrestled Samoa Joe last night.

Based on the way the show's timing went last night, it appears the Chris Jericho-William Regal face to face segment ran a little long.

Scheduled for Friday's AEW Rampage on TNT, starting at 7 PM EST due to TNT's NHL coverage:

*Owen Hart Foundation Tournament: Red Velvet vs. Kris Statlander.

*Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley vs. Darius Martin & Matt Sydal.

*House of Black vs. Dark Order & Fuego del Sol.

*Shawn Spears vs. "A Giant."
