LEGITIMATE FINISH ON LAST NIGHT'S IMPACT ON AXS EPISODE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-03-18 09:23:00

The Motor City Machine Guns' reunion against Bullet Club's Chris Bey and Jay White took an interesting turn in the bout that aired on last night's eholdition of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that the finish that aired was not the original intended ending of the bout.  The match ended when Jay White was a milisecond late breaking up the pinfall as planned and since the official had counted three, the match was ended prematurely.

While it is believed the Guns would have still gone over, the match was intended to run longer with a different finish.  There was no heat on anyone as it was seen as just one of those things that can happen when timing is off even a tiny bit.

Impact Wrestling will be holding a rematch this weekend at their TV tapings in Philadelphia at the legendary 2300 Arena, which kick off tonight and continue tomorrow.  PWInsider.com is seeking spoiler reports from the tapings.
