It was announced that both NBC and FOX will be simulcasting the return of potential XFL rival, The USFL, on 4/16 featuring The Birmingham Stallions vs. The New Jersey Generals. NBC Sports will handle pre game, half time and post game coverage, while Fox Sports will produce game coverage, which will run on both networks, including airing the same commercials. It will be the first time since the 1967 Super Bowl that two rival broadcast networks will air the same Live sporting event.
As for the XFL, earlier this month, Dwayne Johnson noted on his social media that they were one year away as of 1/4 from the start of the 2023 XFL Training camp, and teased big announcements coming next month.
