The Pope Elijah Burke was released from the hospital early this morning but will be kept off all physical duty today at the NWA Powerrr tapings in Atlanta, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Burke was transported to the hospital last night after being legitimately hurt being thrown into the steel ring steps in the aftermath of Trevor Murdoch vs. Mike Knox on the NWA Hard Times 2 PPV and underwent X-Rays and other tests. We are told that Burke is believed to have suffered a concussion but is expected to be OK. We wish him the best.
The NWA taped five hours of their new NWA USA series on Friday 12/3. PWInsider.com is seeking spoiler results from that taping as well as today's Powerrr tapings.
